However, I'd say the he wasn't playing it arrogantly as much as playing it rehearsed--he's been playing "the carnival" for awhile (among other things). At least we can agree that he is extremely talented.

Yeah, most people will agree that he is very talented. He has no style though. I've watched so many of his videos. Amazing virtuosity (I'd say so even if he was 10 years older), but his music is completely emotionless, rehearsed, and boring

This young man is amazing - I have been playing trumpet for over 50 years with some success but no where near the way this guy plays.

Well, this certainly isn't the best performance I've ever seen, but the most impressive thing is the high F at the end. When I play through this piece, I barely have enough energy to play a staff F, much less an octave higher. But everyone is built differently.

He's great, but he has really bad sound at times, and he can't keep time at all. He's cracking notes like crazy at the end, because he's trying to play it too fast.

The tempo is because the orchestra wasn't following him. As for the "bad sound", what are you smoking idiot? This kid is one of the best trumpet players in the world at 15 years old. This guy motivates me to no end.
