I have been to Edale a couple of times this year since started doing walking Not been up Kinder Scout yet but plan to soon. and i end up having a pint or 2 after as well. both times in the rambliers inn :)

Yes, this is England...its where i go walking every weekend...fresh air, exercise and peace...good for the soul. Its fairly easy, depending on how far we walk, usually its about 8-10 miles. Im going there again tomorrow and the snow hasn't gone yet, so its going to be another cold day!
Excellent video Rob, I like the Peak District a lot but I don't recall going to the same part as you, unless it is anywhere near Buxton, Glossop, New Mills etc!:)
Kinder Scout is the highest peak...just over 2,000 feet. Its not far from Buxton OR Glossop. A map search for Edale should pinpoint it for you. Well worth a walk up it, the views are great. Going again on saturday....think it will be deep snow this time (another vid perhaps.lol)
