Worst review I've ever seen lol. Why'd you even go to the gig? How can you say the sitting down thing is a Slipknot thing? Loads of bands have done it, including Bring Me, and the going on stage to see the band or kiss them as BTF did, isn't exactly new either... You went to metalcore gig with bands like BTF and Asking then moaned at the 'faggy' vocals? Did you not expect high clean vocals? Or would you rather they'd randomly grunted about raping people...? You seem like such a moody bastard...

Yesterday Asking Alexandria were doing a gig in Hamburg, northern Germany. They were supported by Chelsea Grin and blessthefall, who actually did quite a good job in my opinion. However, Asking Alexandria attracted a bunch of those scene kiddies to join the concert what I actually do not like it all. Asking Alexandria are are horrible live act and I would rather spend my money on a good vinyl than joining another concert of them being headliners. ...

Well said mate, love what you said about WOLB, and AA really are quite boring imo. I completely agree about the lack of respect in that kind of gig, I was there and while moshing managed to fuck over someone's leg and no bastard helped me up, whereas when I saw The Black Dahlia Murder (my favourite band) the week before, the very second I slipped on the sweaty/bloody/beery floor about 3 huge dudes picked me straight back up. Also your musical taste is very similar to mine, much respect for that.

Sorry mate but isn't the point of going to a gig to have a good time? i'd rather go to a gig and the band play quite shittly but put on a really good show with like really high energy and all that than them to just stand there and play what they play on the record you can STAND around and listen to a band at home so why do the same at a gig where you get to see the actual members you like and idolize, just seams stupid to stand around at a gig and just listen when the whole point is to have fun?

And WOLB, Blessthefall and AA are all classed as Post-metalcore which is a mixture between the genres of post-rock and heavy metal, so if you dont like it just stick with the shitty heavy metal and crappy deathcore you like, go listen to some real music and vary your taste, try listening to Boyz to Men-The Tracks of my Tears, you might like it

Just listened to the bit about the sitting/laying down thing and copying Slipknot, but I don't reckon they did it due to not having their own shit, but due to Slipknot probably being one of their influences. I mean, Impending Doom do that at a few of their shows, and they enjoy some Slipknot.

I think your scores were a bit harsh! But if there a couple of things I really agree with it's A) oh my word the crowd....I still remember those two people...(sadly) and B) I really wish BTF hadn't been on for so long, as by the time AA came on I'd almost had enough. I do think they were more a 8 out of 10 though, but they are very much my kind of music ;D

OH & I personally thought Chelsea Grin were better live than on CD! x

I've seen Chelsea grin three times now. And for them it's sort of hit and miss. The first show, was awesome. It was a normal gig and everyone seemed to have a great time. Second time was like how you described. The last time was just mediocre at best, no moshing, and mediocre performance.

Also that respect issue, its like that in the 'hardcore' scene. These shit metalcore bands that call themselves hardcore go round fighting and swinging their arms around, its bollocks.
