I remember this ad back from 1999, and used to watch it on the IBM site back in the day. I was so sad when they took the video down. I'm thrilled to find it online again; it is still my favorite ad of all time.
I tried VERY HARD for several YEARS to get this song from the people at Machinehead. At one point I was told that a compilation CD with various commercial works on it, including "magic box", was planned. My last attempt in 2007 resulted in being told that IBM owned the rights and that a CD was not being pursued anymore. They also said the piece was never polished to be listenable as a standalone song.. but I mean, I personally would have been totally satisfied with the 1:10 length. So sad...
Awesome.
This commercial changes an ugly server into a beautiful box.

I believe the IBM's new magic box is Lotus Foundations Server. Its true autonomic server operating system for the SMB market.

Today, it would be a Magic Blade. Now there's a cool image.

Great song for this series of commercials!! I remember hearing this in the late 90s and wondering who did the song.
