Ugh. I just saw a 2011 Honda Civic rear end a truck today. The truck was fine, barely had a scratch. The civic's hood was smashed and a bit of the front bumper fell off :(

This car is safer than the TC. I used to own a Cobalt Coupe I was scared to hell to drive this in the snow .Now that I have my Si I feel very secure all around.

They are safe. I was in a car crash going at about 60 on the freeway. Got hit on the side and slamed into the rail. The side air bag saved my ribs. I spun out of control before slamming the rail. But walked out of it like nothing happened. Just scared and some leg pain and a bruce from the side air bag to my rib. But the next day i was doing great. I was so amazed and grateful nothing happened to me. I was working the very next day after the crash. Would very strongly say the honda is safe. :)
