I used to paint with oils for the authenticity-but then I embraced acrylics and found a truer beauty. This guy does the same with synth.

@MorpheusBride well said. i wasn't sure how to take the synthesizers on a sufjan album and i am a huge synthesizer fan. i have felt like i should grow up and and leave them behind, but he elevates them to, as you said, true beauty.
