What? Sammy is mediocre at best? Dude, I don't know what you call music but Sammy was the one keeping Van Halen going, he not only is a great singer but he had to overcome the way VH was looked at as, Dave is no doubt one of a kind and irreplaceable.. For Sammy to become the lead singer and keep the band going, its incredible. But you know that's your opinion, to each his own.

The great shame in all this is the founding members Eddie, Alex and David got little respect from SH & MA. They sure looked uncomfortable up there and the audience sounded nervous and embarrassed. But it's great to see the new VH 2007 with the Diamond One back where he belongs!!!!

Van Halen bass player Michael Anthony is no spokesman for the group. But then again, neither is Sammy.  The RRHOF shut out Dave... what a shame.

The RR HOF is a joke, I must agree. But, Van Halen is one of the best bands ever. Their stuff with Dave was great, as well as Sammy. It's too bad they all couldn't be there, but this was still cool to see, nonetheless. I thought their speeches were good. They can only say so much due to time limitations, and they included everyone.

Fisrt I think the R&R HOF is silly, but that said VH just blow it everytime. Roth mentioned the HOF in his book 10yrs ago. He wanted to be there, but knew it would be lame w/o Ed&Al. Ed's been gone for years but really loses it just before the HOF, hmmm...take that to the Psych. I don't know how many more chances they will have to shine in the spotlight. they fck up every chance. I'm certain DLR had big plans (maybe even wrote his 1st new joke in 20yrs), but couldn't go through with it. LAME

I am so GLAD I didn't watch this on March 12th. This was probably the worst induction into the Hall Of Fame, which this would be hall of "lame" as far as speeches and the two that showed up. David wasn't mentioned enough and Sammy was just a runner up in what was already a great ROCK band to begin with. He didn't even thank Eddie for asking him into the band, or mention Dave's incredible vocals and stage performances in the past. On a scale of 1 thru 10 I'd give this a 2.
