  • wow i think he mormon or Jehovah Witness... yeah cuz they usually restrict you on certain things.

  • He's Morman.

  • holy crap, that whole church-tie thing is retarted. Jesus said not to judge people by their outward appearance. damn...

  • Yeah, but he's going to be talking to people who presumably aren't Christian, Catholic, or Mormon ^_^v First impressions can certainly help.

Despite what anyone says I think people naturally make assumptions about a person based on their outward appearance - it's instinct at work. By dressing in a certain way they're looking to downplay the negative impact that a scruffier look (or a half-naked woman or brand logo with a negative or commercial image) would deal to a potential convertee.

  • my god i want her jacket

  • corinne your dress is AWESOME!!

  • eeek !

that the scarf i made !<333

    i loveyou threadbangers

  • making a skirt our of old ties is easy- simply measure the width of each tie, then measure your waist. then, is say you need 22 ties to go around, sew them together with the wider edge on the bottom. make a waistband, as showed in one of the previous episodes, and hey presto! a new tie skirt.

  • thanks.

  • How the hell do you make your show so..so..GREAT! IT ROX! IT HELPED ME A LOT!

  • Very good episode guys. I loved some of those tie ideas. And Rob's shirt looks like some of the jackets on Andrew's website...

  • I LOVE COCONUT RECORDS!

  • All the episodes inspire me somehow. =], and now I need your help!

I just recently bought an iPod classic and I love it. But since I'm trying to preserve it as long as possible, I need some kind of slip cover for it. Unfortunately the iPod itself didn't come with one. So, if you guys could help me out with ideas on how to make a quick and easy cool one, THAT'D BE GREAT!

  • Yipee!!! Another mormon viewer. Congrats on the call dude. And props to you for wanting ideas to make cool ties!!!

  • Yes, I concur! Can you show us how to make a top like Corrine's?

And also...I was wondering if there's anyway to turn a normal baseball hat into a scally cap? (I believe that's how you spell it...?) Or just how to make one from scratch. 'cause I can never find one, and if I do, they're always too small for my gargantuan noggin.

    Thanks!

    Keep rockin'!

    -Jo

  • i liked this one! good job!

  • you guys rock!!!!!!!!!

  • The top/jacket/blazer thing(?) that corinne is wearing is fab! I wish i could make stuff like that... and pull it off!

  • haha strange hats

  • I've never really brought myself to buy a sewing machine not thats it expensive but i cant be botherd.Threadbangers where are the old videos gone that you used to make without having a sewing machine pleeeaaaaaaase make more of them?

  • Hey Avril, I bought myself a sewing machine because of threadbanger - I wish Corinne wold get emotional about that. Anyways, it costed me 60 Eur/88 USD, it came with an instructional DVD and it was really worth the money. It is a cheap machine, still alot of money I know, but it can even doublestitch, so I'm quite happy tryin out my first sewing steps. Just some encouragement! :)

  • oh! that is so cool :D

  • interesting
