I argued with a family member today over Sevendust. My opinion was the that Sevendust have actually put passion into their music and not been altered by record companies and not made cocky like other bands or Artists. His argument was that they weren't popular. My statement showed that they aren't alter, they're not changed. Sevendust show the passion that is needed in music. Nothing can compare to them... Lajon (lead singer) even cries in one of his videos. Now tell me, isn't that passion?

I believe he's in that scene for the sake of consistency, i.e. all of the members of 7d are in the waiting room, hence the Jesus lookalike in the waiting room. I understand the song is dedicated to the loss of someone important but a couple lines in the lyrics seem oddly out of place:

The line you are referring too is about his daughter he never got to meet and Ladjon Witherspoon is just translating that for the people who lost lynn without saying goodbye. I Love this video but everytime i hear it i choke up. My friend is losing a battle with cancer and this was our shit when we were 16.

I'm not sure if he died the same day she was born or shortly after. But basically he's saying "I have a daughter now that is my life, now that you're gone. And I miss you but there's nothing I can do about it."
