She is NOT a Leviathan...while I can't say either way as to the color of her blood, look at the consistency. Leviathan "blood" is tar black and as thick as...tar. This stuff was running almost like water.
That was pretty uber, I mean Dean outsmarted a high-level demon. Not too shabby, and I liked how the car outside was the only thing affected by that white light.
I loved Cas in this part of the episode, I don't know why. I love how worried he was when Eve bit Dean's neck. And I also love how sexy his voice sounded when he said, "Shut your eyes!". Nawww, Cas is so cute. I love him lots.
@mewantcool she's not a leviathan, she's a supernatural being whose soul is in purgatory, where all the souls of the supernatural are and go like vampires and werewolves.

@spongeandy her weakness was Pheonix ashes, Dean made 5 bullets with ashes, gave one to everyone, and ate the ashes inside the 5th bullet :P So when Eve tried to bite him, I guess whatever was affecting Eve in the ashes was in Dean's blood, so she kind of ate ''poison food'
The one looking at Dean when she died was the girl, wasn't it? I've criticized Dean for his black and white way of viewing the world, but maybe if he didn't have that his guilt would take from him any semblance of sanity he has left.

One of the most powerful beings in SPNverse. She had the ability to block angelic power. She created Jefferson Starships and Alphas. Despite that, Dean killed her with a simple trick. Shows you who really are the big guns in Supernatural. Not Azazel, not Lilith or Lucifer or Eve. Sam and Dean hold true power. These guys are terrific and they'\re going to deal with the Leviathans just as they did with the rest of the big bads.
@09gwnaf I agree with you, however If I may correct you... Dean and Dean alone is the true mother....... in the entire series. Think about it. Sam is always having serious problems, and Dean is the guy who has to stay strong and clean up the mess. And yeah... he was in Hell for 30 years or so. And he is still a badass. And we should keep in mind that both of the winchester brothers would be dead like milion times if it weren't of Bobby...

@FayeChan01 Demons were not created by Eve, they were created by souls going to Hell. Like Bobby says, they're just twisted, evil ghosts from the dimension of Hell. And Eve, from Purgatory, created all other things (vampires, werewolves, etc).
Basically, there 4 "factions", if you will: humans, demons, angels and monsters. And then there are ghosts, who don't really care about anything :P
i think it was a nice twist that they didnt make everything so difficult for the boys this time.. we were all probs expecting a huge showdown with eve in the last episode, and the phoenix ashes not working or something, but instead everything goes according to plan for once :)

Unless we are led to believe that Luci didn't know about the Leviathans, which I am skeptical about, they may be older than souls but I doubt they were the predecessors of the Angelic beings.

I love Supernatural more than any other show but I'm afraid that the CW is going to drag it out rather than let it end like it should. I think that Eve's storyline was misplaced. This act should have played out in season 5. Like either her siding with Lucifer or not because she wanted her creature to live on earth, just as Crowley didn't want the apocalypse cause he's miss out on all the fun. Then it wouldn't have matter what happened to her throughout the rest of the series because as many have said wasn't necessarily evil, just looking out for her babies.
It just like when the pagan gods didn't want the apocalypse to happen and look what happened to them....(poor Gabriel, i wish he'd come back along with Balthazar)

Although I would wager that Eve is just as powerful as Lucifer (she's about as old, or older than him).
