  • how did you do your exaust?

  • damn dude you had a gold mine a parts to work with....good job

  • thanks for adding this, just bought a blue monster just like yours, now have some good ideas for winter,

  • how did you do the seat? where do i get one?

  • well done mate, keep working on it, the bike is comming along nicely! Cheers.

  • love the bike and what you have done. have just purchased a CX500 in a million pieces, me and a mate in process of sorting, cleaning, and assembling for breakdown paint reassemble etc. It looks remarkably like yours with what the previous owner has done (paint and rear solo seat primarily, almost identical!). think it is pre 1980 as it only has the single disc/caliper setup? What method did you use for polishing the rocker covers? Cheers, Geoff Perth AUS

  • Awesome, was looking in to doing the same but using a honda twin disk with comstar wheels so they would match. Keep up the good work mate!

  • no i made it

yes i agree its bad i made the solo seat from fibreglass i made it from plaster first then took a mold from it!!

  • its like all thing you dont like at first, its starting to grow on me lol.

    good video...

  • still more proof you cant polish a turd

  • ha ha

    yea

  • lol mate thought you would bag shit out of me 4 sayin that haha

  • Very funny lololol

  • not bad but to make a cx really shift put a 650 engine in the older lighter frame , hold on tight and change the front brake !!!! mine clocked at 125 mph and wheelies like crazy in 2 nd !! oh i used a gpz 750 front end and lowered the back end by 1 and half inches ! really handles well , ps your cam chain sounds loose !!!!

  • what air filters have you used?

  • im not sure

  • quick question

were did you get the reverse controls???

i need some horribly, and the handle bars i would like to know how you installed them if you could help i would be most grateful!!!!

  • its a gsxr 750 front end from a 1985 bike bolts straight in same bearing size .just get rid of the bump stop but don't dent the tank! everything

  • That's so cool. I had one years ago. Loved it to bits. Always thought it would look cool with that big tank.

Does it still squirm over the white line on the motorway?

  • not to bad with the front end off the gsxr now
