This has two very Critical Disadvantages, Like the German Tanks of WW-2 the Arjun is over engg and hard to mass produce unlike the Russian Tanks. Not to mention this is a German Design. It is also very broad and needs specialy modified trucks with broader chase to carry it..These modifications may cause time delays in transport during battle.

@MrVirous30 There are only 280 orders for Arjun Mark.1. They are planning to make an Arjun Mark.2. Same chassis but with modifications for more futuristic armor and lighter weight. Army wants a 50 ton tank for future while Arjun mark 1 is 60 tons.

So T-72 will be replaced with FMBT or Arjun Mark 2.
