Had a 1986 K5 Silverado about 10+ years ago. It looked EXACTLY like this one, only it had the double glass in the rear and a roof rack. This is the first video I have ever found on this truck, where the interior was exactly like mine and in the same condition.
ahhhhhh, brings back fond memories of that 1984 chevy blazer my dad used to have, it had a 6.2L detroit diesel and got 18 mpg city, and 24 mpg hwy, it was a great truck!!!
my dad bought an 84' a little while back for arounf 6k and it was in really nice condition. as the years passed it had numerous problems and now hes thinking of selling it as he bought a 2000 gmc yukon and a honda civic and were running out of driveway space. that blazer could probably be really nice again for about 2 or 3 grand and i really want him to give it to me for my 16th or 17th birthday (im 15). any ideas on how to convince him??
@diaryofanaxeman56 LOL... Sure its safer than anything on the road pretty economical... Hondas dont get 28MPG the way most kids drive them anyways likely 19 if lucky.... But most of all its a Investment This rig will only go up in value. Best way alltogether would be start flipping burgers or cars or collecting cans building websites mowing laws whatever it is you do and ask him how much he would sell it to you for than ask him to split it with you and buy it from him..;-p Good Lucki
Beautiful truck, tires need to be replaced it looks like, but she looks real clean. I had a 1986 K5 Silverado in mint, mint condition I sold back in the late 90's and I have to say, I still miss her.
They should have never stopped making this model, I know the gas prices these days are retarded. But even since I first saw this truck in the 1970's when I was 6 years old, I wanted one, got one and then sold it. : (
@jpg4298, k-5 is pretty much the body style and the 5ft of cargo space in the back, like the suburban. It sounds like maybe an exaust leak out of the manifold. And you might not want to flake of the strip between the window, that hold its a filler piece to hold the glass in lol but overall Mint.
man really nice video!!i really like the way you present your cars man...keep up the good work cause youre one of the verry fiew people who show everything
i wish i could in the area where you live man..beautifull surrounding..i have appartmentblocks 20feet from my frontwindow..it sucks
.i'm hoping that one day i can do the same thing that you're doing..selling cars..
but hey , keep this up, like to watch your vids i'm sure you're making a lot off money with it...greeting from the netherlands!!

That exhaust rattle sounds like the heat riser off the exhaust manifold. They wear and get loose. No big deal just a little annoying.
