  • I'm a bigger women and I'd love to get sexy photos taken while I'm young then every ten years as a way to celebrate the sexiness of myself through out my life

  • @MrsRandomRedhead Heck, why wait every ten years? Have 'em taken all the time!

  • @BaronDixon I meant professionally lol:) It cost to much to get them done all the time.

  • @MrsRandomRedhead Jeepers! What're the professionals CHARGING out where you live? LOL. Seriously, though, most of my repeat clients hit me up about an average of every other year. They get INTO it. Others (my Retouch clients) are enthusiastic amateur models/photographers who have me "fluff" the pictures they shoot themselves.

  • wow i see so then these ladies are true models. real women.. not like the ones i see in magazines/on tv. no airbrushing and stuff. whoa. thats so cool ;) we women who grew up thinking we had to be like paris hilton or whomever will one day realiize there wasn't nothing wrong with being ourselves ;) i envy alotta bbws and just wish i had the confidence they did. we metalheads are kinda dark minded anyhow, goth like. your work is nice i like it ;) very beautiful.

  • art/photos of bbws would probably sell alot today as society tends to lean towards morbid stuff and abstract thing, weird stuff. i am a bbw but a preop lapbander. i wish i had the self esteem these ladies do unfortunately i gotta under go the knife before i will feel. any ounce of love . and my health needs it too thats the most important reason for surgery. then looks. so they say.. how do these ladies like themselves when peeps constantly put them down . wow. :) bbws are like Valkyries

  • Thank you for your very insightful comment, Gadget. However, I'd like you to reconsider what you said about "any ounce of love." The lapband is not likely to change that. That's losing weight for OTHER people's reasons. You gotta do it for your OWN reasons FIRST, like your health needs. You gotta love yourself NOW, because that's what matters more than your physicality. The work I do with these ladies wouldn't matter a hoot to their self-esteem if they lacked self love in the first place.

  • The work I do simply confirms what they already think about themselves. The ones that choose to go forward with weight loss do so with the mindset of "Wow...I'm pretty hot right NOW. I'll look even better a couple of hundred pounds lighter and shopping will be easier!" Find your inner Valkyrie, Gadget. She's in there somewhere.

  • i am sure the great odin can help me find her i don't wear a mjolnnir for nothing. and my reasons true reasons for the lapband is for health i love myself so much and my family/friends that i don't want nothing bad to happen to myself is why i seekthe lapband over the bypass. it seems pretty harmless and over all a good thing. being a pagan i'd never opt for the bypass as it destroys the course of nature the lapband just puts a squeeze on it :). self love is the best thing for anything.

  • the great valkyries female warrior/vikings of the north were bbws infact. you think the vikings would of wanted tiny things to help them out with raids HELL NO ;) size acceptance though is for all not just bbws. the thin girls have it harder then we do think of it. they gotta "compete" with each other so they don't end up being like us and having our discrimination. what our society imposes on women. in a way it's just sexism/in men we still have alot to over come, help of valkyies

  • its all about mother nature. Mother nature has created every one beautiful. The human eyes are different. the artists can see the beauty everywhere..

  • Iishieboo and I are very close. I sent this video to her. I feel the exact same. I'm a plus sized woman myself and your work absolutely floors me. I've been modeling for a while. I started to do it as a self esteem booster. This takes that to a whole new level. If I lived closer to you, I'd surely pay to work with you. Your work is inspirational. I wish you all this best. Thank you so much for this. This video has honestly indirectly had an influence on my outlook on my appearance and body. <3

  • Wonderful! Just beautiful! This is wonderful to see... I'm a Body Acceptance Activist and this really fills me with so much joy. I'm a big girl too and feel amazing when I take pictures of myself... Someday I'll have my photo taken by an artist like you and it will be something I'll treasure forever. Thank you for renewing my goal of having that happen. Thank you for your art!

  • Barron it seems like you have a gret deal of talent and a passion for what you do. I really like the way you are protraying these women.

I think that if more ppl photographed us plus size women like this, maybe we would have more self esteem. If you are ever in pittsburgh let me know! I would love to be one of your models! :)

  • You're probably right, but I also realize that the women who volunteered to participate in this video rank pretty high on the self-esteem meter already. LOL. While they all have had to take the discrimination from society that all big girls do, they have emerged on top of it as very dynamic, energetic and vital women by the time they met me. But I agree with you about needing more nice pictures of realistic women in advertising and fashion. I think it would help self-esteem in general.

  • I just think that little girls who are slightly bigger than the other little girls shouldn't feel so... "different" or any less beautiful.

In today's society beauty is more based on how thin you are and how big your breasts are. But what about the average every day mother/ house wife. They are just as beautiful as these "super" models and they are not getting credit like they should.

    I really admire your work.

  • Thank you very much! You've definitely hit several nails on the head there. I think people need to spend less time looking at ads and just really look at the people around them. Beauty and utter fabulousity are all around us, even if it doesn't always resemble Hollywood or Madison Avenue.

This doc was a friend's class project so we were restricted to a 7-min. run time. I'm tempted to make a longer version because we got some great stuff in the interviews that we couldn't fit into here.

  • :) I am definately interested to see what you bring to the future.

And just between us and all those who read these comments, I find the average every day girl more attractive than the plastic hollywood types.

  • Baron, i love this vid,and art, awesome! ty sasha

  • great work this socity needs people like u who can let big girls like us shine our inner and outer us i loved the painting beautiful!! :]

  • Fantastic- keep it up- this deserves much wider coverage to dispel that anorexic stereotype which continues to screw up so many teenage girls.

  • I'd love to be a Baron Girl.

  • Thank you SO much for showing that a woman doesnt have to have a concave stomach to be sexy. Our weight obsessed culture needs more people like you.

  • Man, my girlfriend is a curvy gal too, I actually have videos of her on here, I think she would look so good in one of those paintings. Kind of has the body that they used to paint women having about 200 years ago...

  • (after checking out your channel) She's absolutely lovely, Shawn! A Magnificently proportioned REAL W-O-M-A-N. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • Wow amazing work! Goes to show ALL women have the ability to be a sexy lil minx.

  • Wow! I really love your work! You are great! What a great artist! More power to you!

  • Well done Baron, I like this video and the pics are great! Did you use adobe to edit the backgrounds and stuff? Also, who painted the oil paintings? Enjoyed this video the most.

    Your Muse

  • Yes, I used Adobe Photoshop to edit the photos, sometimes creating whole new environments for the models from scratch. I can also design exotic costumes and lingerie/fetish wear over nude poses. The oil painting is my work as well.

  • I would add the dazzling and enchanting Velvet D'Amour to that list.

Let's say, however, that your standards of attractiveness apply exclusively to yourself. Personally, I view a woman is an entire package, and if everything works together for her (and that includes her personality, which drives everything else), then her big belly or cottage cheese butt and thighs (Which often tend to come with the territory) are just another reminder of that sexy person for me. That goes for all women.

  • Very Lovely! YAY BIG GIRLS! Just Like Me!<3<3

  • Hey, if I send you a picture would you consider it for a painting??

  • Please contact me privately to discuss more details on what you're seeking art-wise. I look forward to discussing it with you!

  • Wow! Guys like big girls? When I grew up, boys use to pick on me because of my weight, I thought guys did not get off on this stuff I all ways thought boys like the skinny girls not big girls. I give you props for doing this because it shows that big girls can be sexy, Now we need to change Hollywood, and media views on big women. Because I grew up hating being fat because I was told by the media fat was ugly. But now doors are opening for us big girls. Thanks again for doing this!

  • Sexy comes in all sizes shapes and ages, baby. Go out amongst people and look around you. All kinds of people are hooking up and loving one another. Think of yourself as "built for comfort, not for speed". There's something for everyone in the smorgasbord of life. The media has its OWN narrow agenda. Real life is a lot more flexible and appreciative. Go and be the sexy big creature you know that you are!

  • Baron - I used to correspond with you a couple of years ago re: your cat paintings. These are very good. I was heavy (240#)but have lost half my body weight (117#) but it's because I've been ill. You could have made me feel beautiful. I wonder if you could now? I should never weigh this little - bones all show. It would be interesting, also because I have many scars - had mastectomy and a quarter of my lung on the other side. Make that look beautiful. Your fan from Lansing, MI, Rebecca Jernigan

  • Yes, Rebecca, I remember you well! You were the VERY FIRST online fan mail I got about my cat paintings that I posted in GradFinder. I definitely don't limit my photo work to BBW's. I've removed scars, psoriasis, stretch marks, and acne. The main thing is to find the sensual "essence" of the model and portray as much of that as possible. That's what people remember.

  • I dont know if u will ever see this, Baron, but I was here today..June 28, 2008.......Joy in Tucson..

  • Hiya, Joy! I am always alerted when someone leaves a comment. Glad you popped in and saw the video! I hope you enjoyed it.

  • Simply awesome. That's all I can say.

  • There is nothing sexier than a fat woman in leather like that. I'm personally into really really really fat girls, the fatter the sexier especially when a girl has to struggle to keep her breasts in her too tight leather bra.

  • hiya! i'm over on live video. terry bubbles buddy. he sent me here.

    great stuff!!! :D

  • I'm over on LiveVideo, too! Same username, and this video is there as well! (18+)

  • Hiya Baron, I was looking for his vid on LV but for some reason I could not find it, So I sent ylais here:)

  • Thank you so much for this, Baron! How amazing! Men in my life have been trying to tell me to see what they see for a long time and I am just now learning. Thank you for being a part of that educational experience! Sure wish Phoenix wasn't so far from Detroit! I'd love to be a Baron Girl!

  • Fly me up to Detroit!

  • Ahhhh!! If only I were a rich girl! :o)

  • Hey, who knows? Maybe we'll make you come to appreciate the glorious natural beauty of the heaving bosom.

  • Great things as usual Baron .. keep up the good work my frend

  • Thanks Baron for reminding us that big girls are beautiful too.

  • thank you so much for sharing this video! I loved it. . . . It's great that the type of art thats done, makes them feel 'accepted' -as one woman put it, thats an amazing feeling to have! thank you

  • phenomenal work. Seem like a decent guy too. It's too bad skinny girls have been so successful as steering guys award from voluptous women. strange.

  • It's not the skinmy girls doing it, it's the Gay fashionistas of madison Avenue who think women should look like ten-yr-old boys. You wanna see what men like? Look at comic book heroines. Men like curves, even if they have temporarily forgotten so.

  • Fantastic vid! Now favorited to my Fat/Size Acceptance favs playlist :D

  • Woah! I never expected to find myself on YouTube *laugh* Thanks Baron for bringing this to this explosive forum. I am proud to be who I am, and that is indeed as a Big Beautiful Woman! It was a pleasure working with you on this project, as always.

    "sexykittn" aka:Kerrilynn

  • KL, I wish we couyld have made the video longer. You ladies said some very profound things, but alas, we were stuck with a 7-minute time limit for this project. Each of you talked a lot about issues of size acceptance, and I may edit together a another video someday using that footage. I think it is stuff that needsto be heard and a message that always bears repeating. Thanks for being such a beautiful part of the project!

  • I love this.. I wodner what you could do with me... I'm not a BBW, but I'm no toothpick either... more torwards the middle, with a bad face, at 220 lbs.. ^_^; (don't worry XP I don't actually want ya to.. just heh.. < donno) I love what oyu do.. and they're beautiful women, before and after photos even ^_^

  • i love this ty for sharing

  • Thank you very much for watching!

  • Fantastic well done, all the girls just look great!!

  • Yes they are quite the bevy of beauties. And they're each awesome women as well. They each have a very active and exciting life of their own filled with personal and business projects.

  • this is a great way to show that beauty is everwhere. no just in a size 2. i love it. and being a BBW it really means a lot to see videos like this

  • It is videos like this and Fat Rant that make me feel really good about myself. I want to go out and tell the world that I am big and beautiful! Thank you so much for making this world a little better to me!

  • As I'm often fond of pointing out, it is not so much what you got, but how you wear it and how you shake it that counts. It's the confidence in the way you carry yourself that will grab the attention of admirers. Be the best YOU that you can be. And you go out there and make the world more beautiful for everyone else.

  • i only wish that i could find someone here in cali that's willing to do something like this. i've always been fat, but i'm not proportionate, and i mostly think of myself as ugly. thanks for making big women beautiful

  • i loved this video!!!!

  • You are just great, and the models too. There is no laws of beauty, Beauty is everywhere.

  • Heyyyy, Ivar! It's YOUUUU! Good to see ya!

  • "Fat Rant" is a superb video. A friend of mine in Las Vegas pointed me to it. I like to think videos such as "Fat Rant" and "Baron-Girls" help to change perceptions of BBW's, not from justthe "thin" population, but from within the women themselves, learning to see themselves as beautiful and sexy and vital.

  • Great video! Why the disclaimer at the beginning?

  • seemed like a good idea at the time. Coverin' my ass, basically. heh-heh!

  • Yeah, the last thing you'd want to do is let this fall into the curved claws of Youtube's general population. A lot of these people here are vicious, and I mean psychotically vicious. A few people claim to be so disgusted by large loveleys that they've threatened to kill them just based on their size. It's destressing for bug guys lile me, and it's just a horrible reminder that this kind of discrimination is not only deemed acceptable, but also encouraged.

  • Well, that's just the nature of the indiscriminate Beast we call the Internet. It's a risk we all run whenever we put ourselves out there. I think that this kind of sensuality abides in all of us, and just because someone doesn't match the current canon of beauty as defined by Madison Ave., they shouldn't hafta put their lives on hold until they match that narrow-minded ideal. Be beautiful NOW, is my motto, and I encourage it in all my models/clients.
