  • I made like A LOT of searching, and the funny thing is that this guitar was my first option, and I remember watching this vid xD. So I almost forgot about it after a while in the middle of the hurricane of brands and models. But now here I am whith one of this in my hand, back to the beginning.

  • @julittok I got the TR version which is the non cutaway or Hurricane relief version. They are a great series of guitars. Nice sound.

  • Im Considering buying a Takamine Guitar but which one would you recommend, the Takamine EG320SC or the Takamine EG440SC?

  • PLEASE SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT SONGS WAS HE SINGING?

  • Btw... in Malaysia which is where i am from, it costs around RM 2400. FYI..

  • I bought this 2 years ago..... and never realised it was a good guitar till someone like Brad Davis played it LoL.. but it really sounds good for country guitar playing.. i recommend anyone to buy this if there are interested in playing rythm and plucking. believe me.. it is worth it...

  • what's the name of the music?

  • Does anyone know what string gauge this guitar has by default?

  • This guy sucks ;)

  • Yes it was $449 on Amazon.

  • I bought this guitar after playing about 40 acoustic electrics in 2 guitar stores over the last few weeks. It was by far the best sounding and very playable. It sounded very comparable to some of the much more expensive guitars in tone and fit well below my $500 budget. Very impressed with Takimine, played several and were all very good as long as you stay away from the lower end Jasmine branded starter guitars.

  • @davva360 you got this guitar for less than 500 dollars?????

  • Comment removed

  • Is that the nex?

  • "thank you for visiting our ebay store". Wait a minuite am i on the wrong site?

  • I just got this guitar for christmas and i love it i havent even thaught of my fender since i took this out of the case!! Great Guitar It Is Also My First Takamine

  • what settings do you have the EQ's at on the guitar?

  • is this guitar with active electronic? do you need to change the batteries?

  • @UnceBobTouchedMe Yes it is active requires a 9V if you want to use the tuner or pre-amp. However you can still play acoustically or tune by ear without a battery.

  • Hey

  • Is the takamine eg340c a different guitar than the takamine 340c?

  • such a nice guitar. i'm gonna buy it. makes my guitar playing look so dodgy

  • Hi guys...

I'm in the process of buying myself a guitar which I will be using to record songs through my mbox mini 2.

Which of these are the best to use? Pick-up wise... Sound wise...

    Takamine EG 320C

    FENDER CD-140SCE

They are both priced the same...

    Does anybody know these guitars?

    Thank you...

  • what difference about EG 320 C and EG 320 SC? thanks!

  • @abcstrategie The biggest difference is that the SC has a solid spruce top, while the C has a laminated spruce top.

  • @siglermusic Hi guys...

I'm in the process of buying myself a guitar which I will be using to record songs through my mbox mini 2.

Which of these are the best to use? Pick-up wise... Sound wise...

    Takamine EG 320C

    FENDER CD-140SCE

    FENDER SONORAN SCE NA UPGRADED

They are both priced the same...

    Thank you...

  • @siglermusic would make a difference like is the 320 c still good cause i want to get it and you said laminated wood so is that bad :(

  • @siglermusic sig, i've got a question, is the Takamine EG340SC a good guitar? i'd like to learn more about it cause i'm going to buy it.

    Please let me know

  • @siglermusic sigler, i've got a question

is the EG340SC a good guitar? I'd like to learn more about this guitar becouse i wan't to buy it

    Please let me know ;).

  • Comment removed

  • can you show the EG345C 12 string model?

    great videos!!!

thanks for guide us to buy the better guitar for us

  • is this guitar the same as the eg341sc except for the color?

  • @nickolasmorales227 Did anyone ever answer this for you? Did you ever find the answer? I'm wanting to know the same thing. Love the guitar, but prefer natural over black... :) Let me know, please!

  • Great video, thanks to the 2 of you for the demo. I m wondering what strings the takamines come with as standard and r they the ones when brad does the demo with? thx

  • Takanine Good sound, Good Price

  • "hard to knock her up cuttin lumber." LOL thats what i heard.

    annnnnyway.

im getting this guitar in approx a week :D

  • i have this guitar now... i love it!

  • I have a question. I'v heard that there is a difference between the Korian made and the chinese. This type of Takamine is Chinese made, but I also heard one that was Korian and the sound was fairly the same. So what's the big difference between the two?

  • Love mine

  • I think the capo is to change the natural key of the guitar, which can help as you can't change your vocal key as easy as you can a guitar key, but I'm not a thousand percent sure on that one

  • u're right :) but 1000% is quite unreachable

  • @muzikscud23 the capo's purpose is to basically create a new nut for the guitar by making the strings shorter, depending on what fret you place it on. I want to order one of these, just love the sound . What gauge are the standard strings?

  • @ArianeQube I believe takamine sells their guitars with light gauge D'Addario...but not too positive.

  • got one :D

  • Can someone tell what song it

  • I wish he would have done a song without a capo..

  • hi could u demonstrate the eg360sc thanks

  • i just got this guitar and i could not be more happy.

  • hi could you do a video of it and also whats the action like and whats the sound like when its not plugged in thanks

  • what song is he playing

  • can someone please tell me what the difference is between a 340 and 360.

  • what cappo is that ??

  • @darkhood66 it's a Kaiser capo

  • is this improvisation? or a song he already knows

  • should I get this or the martin DX1 ?

  • What's the action like?

  • I enjoy the tone of this guitar a lot, but enjoy the feel, action and play of the EAN10C much more.

If you guys could combine the two guitars I' be in heaven. Keep the EAN10C's looks though :]

  • how is the action on this guitar? is it hard to press down the strings?

  • you can always change it

  • i bought this guitar and i liked it but it had a bad fret buzz on one fret...i took it back and a luthier set it up properly and now i friggin luv this gat...easy to play and good value!! but just make sure you chek all the frets for buzzing before u buy a takamine china guitar

  • where is manufactured this model ? i mean the country, where is it made?

  • china

  • i think japan but im not sure

i would like to no too

  • is this guitar good?like in abit warm(mid thru treble and bass) and crisp sounding?

  • This guitar's great, but if you prefer a more bright, crisp sound with a punchier bass (i obviously do) check out the EG360SC models; they have rosewood back/sides making it a brighter/fuller tone compared to a warmer/duller (in my opinion) sound.

  • I almost bought this guitar. Spend about an hour in the store trying to decide between the 340SC and the 341SC. The only reason i got the 341 is because i don't like how the abalone color matches with the wood on the soundhole. Think the color looks slightly better on the black 341.

  • Im sure I heard a Brad Davis song on Walker Texas Ranger lol.

  • Yea, good players make every gee-tar sound good, don't they?... but I like Takamine anyway... They're sweet.

  • I got an all black takamine EG341SC for $250 new =]

  • i found one in a stor same model for 420 cdn dollars

  • i got this guitar earlier today and boy is it absolutely FANTASTIC!

  • Hi Chris,Where can i buy this guitar takamine eg 340sc in a lefthand model cos i love it but cant find a lefthand model anywhere and any idea of the price in euros... I live in Rep.of Ireland, any dealers sell it in the u.k or europe then i wont have to pay v.a.t. on it when its shipped to me...Please tell me takamine made it in a lefthand model also..... Thanks and love the video reviews man..... Brian Cunningham.....

  • thats crazy i was looking at this guitar today im a left handed and i live in Ireland im going to buy it in a day or two

  • Hey ! Nice video ! What do you think of this guitar ? And what amp should I buy with( just a small amp 20 watts with a great sound and where i can plug my mic ! ) ??

  • I'm getting this same guitar for christmas. I can't wait!

  • Are you kidding me? Brad would make a fence post strung with bailing wire sound good!

  • i have bought 330sc last week. ilove it.i had an ovation celebrity, i am so glad i have sold it for £300 and bought This takamine for £250.Brand new!!!

  • So far from all the guitars I've played (Esteban, Ibanez, Greg Bennett(Samich - sp?), Yamaha, Ovation) I love the Takamine brand the best. Especially this model. I've been looking for a new guitar lately for our praise and worship band, and this caught my eye the moment I walked in the store. Tried it out and it is A++++++, very warm pretty sound, nice inlay and fav dreanought design. Spectacular preamp (that goes w/o saying - duh). Very high quality in the 400-600 price range.

    Thx 4 the review!

  • I just bought this guitar. I feel so good playing. its real good guitar to my ears and my fingers. I paid it 300euros. How much does it cost in SMC? What amp should i buy?

  • Glad you love it! Shoot a video and post it here so we can see it in action......as for a case, it will fit in most standard dreadnaught cases. Give us a call if you need us to ship you one. 1.800.281.6607.

Thanks for the business. We really appreciate it. And, thanks for commenting.

  • @siglermusic how's the action on this guitar, been thinking about buying it?

  • Hey, what kind of case would you recommend for this guitar?? I love it by the way, Bassy/Trebely sound and its loud unplugged. Plugged in it sings and brings tears to my eyes. I love it 10/10. P.S. The neck feels amazing

  • Yes!! i have one of these on the way to my house now

  • Congratulations! You're going to love it. Come back here to YouTube and post your comments, or better yet, a review when you have it broken in.....

  • Yea man, it should be here this week, i'll post a review here on this video. What is the first song Brad played??

  • Thanks so much for the input! Sounds like your guitars get a lot of "attention". That's great! I agree with your thoughts on Brad Davis, we could all use some of that energy. BTW, we just spent the day shooting a series of 13 new videos with Brad, so be sure to subscribe to our channel so you get notice when they are posted. Have a great weekend,

  • I have had one of these for 30 months. I play it regularly for many hours and it still sounds good to me even with old strings. When I do change them she sounds even sweeter. These guitars are made in China.

Downside is cosmetic: The gold plate on the tuners wears over time but she stays in tune. The varnish on the neck has gone milky at the neck joint.I wish my batteries were as well charged as this Brad Davis. Would I buy one again...Most definately.

  • I'm looking for a takamine at a fairly resonable price that sounds fairly bright, not a dreadnought - what would you reccommend?

  • This sound is natural? or amplified?

    Thanks man!

  • In this video, Brad was plugged in to the Genz Benz acoustic amp that is behind him.

  • how much difference id this model vs the Takamine EG340C?

what does the extra "s" stand for

  • The "S" is for Solid Top. The regular EG340C ("C" is for Cutaway) has a laminated spruce top, where the model with an "S" in the name has a solid spruce top. The solid top is considered a serious upgrade, adding a more natural, woody, rich tone. Honestly, though, the laminated top guitar sounds great as well. Hope this info helps, and thanks for watching!

  • what is the first song called. i like it

  • hi i think i m going to buy this guitar, i ve played it in two music stores and y like it, i would like to know if this one is better than an epiphone eg. ej200 or similar (i know its jumbo but it doesnt sound like one)

    thanks!

  • Well, everyone has their own opinion and tastes, but I believe that you will really like this guitar. Give us a call at 1-800-281-6607 and we will get one on the way to you.

  • the thing is i m from argentina and i really found this review usefull because there is no reviews for this guitar, and here that guitar costs U$S 560 ...way too much

So if you have mp3 of the guitar i would be very grateful

    thanks martin

  • Be nice if he'd unplug these guitars every once in awhile!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Yeah, maybe we will shoot some of these guitars sometime with just a mic in front of it. The sound you hear on the video is a mix of the natural guitar sound coming through the HS-09 earset mics blended with the direct sound of the guitar running through the Genz Benz amp. We didn't do any tricks really, just a good clean sound to demo the guitar.

Thanks for the post. Let me know if we can be of help!

  • Yeah, it would be really awesome if you could demo the non-electrics like the G360S and the G340SC. :)
