I SO wish I had taken taken pictures and video of our experience in Calhoun's ice storm. I was so busy trying to keep myself and family alive, warm and feed that I never even thought about a doing it. We were out of power a week and survived with a kerosene heater and propane grill that I had (believe it or not) just bought 2 weeks before the storm. Angels were looking over us!
I was out of power for five days, which was looong enough for me. Not to mention just, ridiculous. Our neighborhood is right in front of the OMU building!!

Yeah it looked like this at my house and I still dont have power so I am staying at my grandmothers. They said over 2000 polls went down, and the ike aftermath only 200 went down, so this is major, but we all know that!! One of our trees split in half and was across 20th st...it was crazy!!

Not yet, as of Friday the report is 13,700 OMU customers without power and 14,000 Kenergy customers without power.
