France's health care system is ranked 1st in the world, the US is ranked 37th. The US is the ONLY western country that doesn't have single payer health care. The European Union is an emerging superpower. They surpass us in health care, education and quality of life. We can do better here in the US, I want the USA to be #1, do you?

Why are we pandering to Insurance comps? If we went straight to a single payer system(which is what we should be doing) it wouldn't matter. But we have a bunch of mouth breathing conservatives in the US.

I think a lot of people are disgusted with the fact that people who pay their premiums and stick to their of the deal get dropped when it comes time for the insurance companies to uphold their end of the deal. The big companies have the legal teams and a monopoly in many markets, so the average person really cant do much to fight the greed of the companies by themselves.
