Gary Bhupsingh from Sony in London contacted me about #Sade ripping off my royalties on #Snakebite, I have placed the song in dispute via my publishing company Paul Cooke Music :)

Paul, sounds like you have a beef with Andrew and Sade more than the other guys in band? How did the name for band Pride come about?

@shottly011 Pride I think came from the gay scene in London as our manager Lee Barrett was gay I think he used it from that standpoint. The video of Pride for the BBC was also shot in Heaven, a gay club in London:)

it was the whole of Diamond Life, not just Snakebite that was miscredited ..... now that IS serious, so yeah, Paul has a right to be bitter.

Look guys Snakebite is just a good example of how Sade credited the songs, giving Andrew Hale a percentage of a song when he hadn't even joined the band when it was written in 1982. Hale joined in the summer of 83? Yeah myself Denman, Hale, Mathewman should have got the music split equally and Sade just the lyrics and melody, or authorship. Thats how it should have been split..

Yeah Andrew Hale got the music credit for this song and he didnt write it? Nice one Andrew, I heard from Patrick Hunt that you spent the money on cream carpets and cream leather sofas for your London flat, nice:)

Haven't been on youtube in a while, so seeing this is a treat. I would have LOVED to see it being played live. How did you guys come up with the title of Snakebite for the instrumental?

this was named when myself ands stuart and paul had a band called PSP, the band gave andrew hale the credit and he wasnt even in PSSP or wrote the song, I did..
