  • ur awesome thank you!!

  • can u tell us how to say Happy Valentine's day in Korean?

  • haw can we wright Gomawo in Korean ??

  • id like to boink this bitch

  • if i combine.. kamsa-hamnida mean thank you and chaman-heh-yo mean your'e welcome..

is kamsa-haminda chaman-heh-yo mean thank you you're welcome??

  • what about when they say gomahpta??

  • can you teach us how to say the pronouns in korean

  • Can I say just 'kamsa' instead of 'kamsa-hamnida'?

  • @CarlArchuletaKnowles 감사 (gamsa) is a playful, informal way of saying "Thank you" in Korean. This would be used with your boyfriend/girlfriend, friends, or younger siblings. You want to use 감사합니다 in all formal situations, especially with those older than you, those in a professional setting, and with people you do not know.

  • @TheAnonymouslyAbsent thank you so much! I've seen some vids with korean people usually talking and I noticed some of them normally used '감사' only, so I thought of asking ^^ thanks again

  • mannaseo bangapseumnida!

  • @mahalodotcom can make a video on how to say i'm home?

  • hello. what about ko map sumida? i found it a phrase book. is it ok to use on older people? thanks.

  • but theres "komeo" what about this? o.o its the informal way to say thx?

  • I've heard thank you pronounced differently. Maybe that's more of a dialect thing? The h wasn't as prominent.

  • @TPOTOishere I think that's just because when you're new to learning it or you're just speaking slower than the h is pronounced stronger than if you're speaking quickly/naturally. I've noticed that with a lot of Korean words as a beginning speaker we are expected to pronounce every syllable until we are able to speak quickly and naturally but when my Korean friends speak certain sounds (especially when in middle of a word) aren't as prominent/noticeable

  • why does it sound like she says tamsa hamnida?

  • she´s pretty

  • recently, i've been on a 'i wanna learn korean' quest, and this has helped SOSO much! Kamsahamnida! :D

  • Fuck google translate, thanks mahalo, love it...^_-

someone say to me happy birthday in korean, and i take 1 hour to reply thank you in korean.....

  • @pelicaravansary ikr? google doesn't even pronounce it right! -__-

  • @tiffanysmile37 yeah, ur right, i got this when im translate in google "gamsahabnida"

  • how do you write you're welcome or you are welcome in korean? formal and informal please.

  • @Lisakhr81 and how come all of the translators say something different from you're welcome than what they say on this tutorial?

  • is there like a different way of thank you too, like Komawoyo or something

  • @kathypurple8 There are a number of ways to say the same sentence in Korean. Thank you alone can be translated into many different sentences: kamsahamnida, kamsahaeyo, komawoyo, komawo, komabda.

  • mahalo...similar in philippine word mahal..means love...i love your smile mahalo ;)

  • @9ballchampion as i know there are lots of philippine words same as malay, "TOLONG" calling for help, is that true

  • Khamsahamnida for your tutorial... sarang hamnida...:)

  • Why do other say thank in "gomawo" ?

  • @alymerz Kamsahamnida is a formal way of saying Thank you. Used when saying it to someone older than you.

Gomawo is an informal way of saying Thank you. Used when saying it to someone the same age or younger than you.

For example, you would say Kamsahamnida to a teacher and say Gomawo to a classmate.

  • @WithLoveYumi I never knew what that meant. I say it everyday in martial art class but I never really knew what the meaning was. I say it when we bow and stuff

  • @WithLoveYumi Ok, so how do you type "Gomawo"? 고마워?

  • Hi, are you interested in a link exchange on your site with domscafe.com

  • kamsa himnida for the tutorial :)

  • I thought it was ko map sum ni da?

  • kansa hamnida!!!

  • ANYONE : 땡큐베리감사 저스틴

    <------what does this mean ?

  • @twinkypop0215 I think it's 'thank you very thank you Justin'

  • @cariJ07 All you have to do is buy a book and learn the alphabet.

  • @xBMTHotaku it's so hard to learn the Korean alphabet with only a book to help you because you can't be sure what the letters actually sound like. Book with CD is better or the talktomeinkorean free online korean language courses/videos are better

  • @xBMTHotaku ware can i find the book ?? and what its the name of it??

  • It would be nice if you could make a tutorial on how to write these phrases

  • ok i'll keep that in mind. thank you. i'm going to learn chinese first because of my ancestors then korean after :)

  • i watched korean drama and i always hear them say gomawo..isn't that another word for thank you in korean or is it different?

  • @samoasian

Gomawo is the informal form of saying gomaseumida which is another way of saying thank you.

  • @funbl0x gotcha! thank you. i'm interested in learning your korean language. thanks for the upload. mahalo :)

  • @samoasian Lol, np. ;) I don't speak korean, just another beginner.

  • @funbl0x LOL. that's cool :)

  • @samoasian Another note: Kamsahamnida is a bit more formal than gomaseumida so if you really want to express your gratitude, I would suggest Kamsahamnida.

  • @samoasian think of Korean as in for each phrase you want to say there are more than 3-4 ways of saying it, including all the impolite and formal terms

  • @tokee1234567 do you bow when you say thank you in korean

  • @Aspenfash899 only when you are leaving and you're saying that with Goodbye or as a goodbye to a person older than you. if they're giving you something, you slightly bend down and get the things with both hands while saying thank you.

  • great video, very informative

but of the 1:02 duration, only about 15 seconds was teaching. the rest was introduction and advertising. just saying.

best korean language vid though on youtube.... ;)

  • thanks for the videos.

you should make a podcast in itunes including all of these videos of how to speak korean so that it could be listen to in the ipod.

  • kamsa hamnida for posting this :D <3

  • how to say tahnk you .....

  • sounds like a t? tomsawhamnida vs kamsahmnida?

  • for the "yr welcome" phrase its "CHEON-MANE-YO" =/= "CHAMAN"..jst correcting.

  • is this hangul?im assuming...cuz hanja looks more complicated, but this is hangul rite??

  • how do you say "what?"

  • @FinalStandofKirika 뭐(mwo, or mo)? to your friends.... 네(nae or ne)? which is "yes?" to someone whom u've just met or who are older than you :)
