Do you not know that lying is a sin? God does NOT love everyone! Did God love Esau? How about the people of the city of Sodom? Or Lot's wife? Does God love the people he sends to hell? Which Jesus said is the majority of this world. Does he love non-believers or worshippers of false Gods? Not according to scripture, God created vessels of wrath fitted to destruction and vessels of mercy from who he's fixed his love.

Everyone has their own opinion, but in the end, any kind of hate is destructive to the hated and the hater. Love is healing and inspires growth and happiness. I wish love to everyone, no matter who you are, or what you believe, Great song.

"Worthy of it's Grace". Is that not an oxymoron. I love Ron Sexsmith very much, I have all his albums. Many of his words have healed me and brought me closer to God. But Hell is a very real place and some, God help us, are going there. If you do nothing for your fellow man do not expect to go to heaven. You will not be let in. Jesus says if you couldn't even give the thirsty a cup of water you did so not unto him. The "killer in his cell and the atheist as well" may have done so . I pray so.

great question mate. through out scripture you will find a multitude of opinions in differing circumstances . God does love all. the whole human family. Remember god HATES a lying tongue but he does not hate liars. He HATES homosexuality but not homosexuals. Jesus says all blasphemies against the son of man are forgiven but not against the holy spirit. Many people believe that everyone gets saved but they are not quoting the bible. Ron does not consider himself Christian. He's not quoting bible

@mlking98, you think he is referring to scripture? Scripture merely states what the author felt, and it reflects nothing but the insecurities of the men who wrote it. I do not know exactly what the great powers in the universe amount to, whether or not there are elements of truth in scripture, or if there are ultimate consequences, but I do know this: a man who can believe so implicitly in the good he feels in the world, in the God he knows, and in simple caring is truly the best of men.
