j12torts... on cello this key (D) works better, less jumping around between positions.

At 1:15 the harmonics come out more brilliant in the original key (E). Also, the soloist can put more 'schmolz' or 'portamento' int o their playing by shifting from G# in 4th pos. down to B in 1st pos. then up again on the 'A' string. Don't get me wrong, I love this trio version. WELL DONE!

this key sounds better than the original. i like the arrangement for the cello, piano and violin. it really brings out the emotions conveyed by the composer.

OMG!!!This is the first time that I have actually seen a vidoe with a cello, violin and piano playing this beautiful song!!! I love it specially the violin part..I play the violin but I have a friend that plays cello and piano.I was wondering if you guys could tell me were I could get the music sheets for the salute d'amour trio,I would really like to buy it, so me and my friends could play the song together!!Thank you!
