  • MMA is a sport. MMA has no "real" fights.

a real fight has no rules. and yes the jumping back kick would not be easy to work into a fight but that does not mean you couldnt use it.

most people out there do not know what a "real" fight is. so unless you have been in a real life or death situation then you should keep quiet and attend to your own. besides it is not the art. it is the fighter.

  • @ninjamaster2995 yeah you're right. yous should go bare knuckles with brock lesnar

  • @froliciouspanda Maybe I will. All I am saying is people believe that because MMA is "mixed martial arts" that it includes everything therefore it can beat any style. Which is completely not true. The style of fighting you use does not matter. MMA might beat kung fu and kung fu might beat MMA. It all depends on who is fighting. I am also pointing out that MMA is meant to be used in an octagon against other MMA fighters. And other martial arts are meant for survival.

  • @ninjamaster2995 so what your saying is that you can beat any martial artiest?

  • @froliciouspanda I did not say that at all. And an MMA practitioner is not a martial artist. You have missed the entire point of everything I just said. Just keep this in mind. Style does not matter. It is the fighter that counts.

  • @ninjamaster2995 what i got from that is that all mma fighters are pussies and they're living a lie by saying that they can fight

  • @froliciouspanda That is not at all what I am saying. MMA is not a bad fighting style. It just is not meant for survival skills. It is meant to be used in a ring. It is meant for competition. So yes they are good fighters but that does not mean they can beat regular martial arts just because they are "mixed" martial arts style. This style versus that style does not matter. Like I said, Sometimes MMA will win and sometimes other arts might win. It all depends on the fighter himself.

  • @ninjamaster2995 when you mean "survive" are you talking about in a forest or something. because if anyone is the best at that it's bear grylls not something like bruce lee. bear grylls is amazing at surviving situation that normal martial artiest or EVEN mix martial artiest would die in.

  • @froliciouspanda I mean survive as in a gun or knife attacker. Or a situation where someone intends to take your life. MMA is not going to show you how to defend against a knife attack or a gun.

  • @ninjamaster2995 you just sounds silly right now, a knife or a gun isn't just going to come to life and start fighting you. if you aren't going to take this seriously i don't think i want to have this conversation

  • @froliciouspanda You know what I meant. And I am also done with this conversation now.

  • @ninjamaster2995 i honestly didn't. you are so wise in your comments it's sometimes hard for me to figure out your message

  • @froliciouspanda Basically, do not say anything unless you know the facts.

  • @ninjamaster2995 what do you mean when you say that

  • @froliciouspanda That pretty much explains itself.

  • @ninjamaster2995 i mean how does it apply to this situation because i didn't say any facts that i didn't know was true

  • @froliciouspanda MMA is for sports and it mainly consists of grappling. MMA will not save your life. Martial arts will.

  • @ninjamaster2995 most mixed martial artiest do muay thai and bjj which means that they aren't martial arts. thank you for enlightening me

  • @froliciouspanda Bjj and muay thai are martial arts. But it depends on how you learn it. There are sports version of those as well as martial versions of them. Just like karate. Sometimes it is used in real fighting situations and others time it is learned as a sport. It all depends what you are learning it for.

  • @ninjamaster2995 if i learn football as if it was a fighting style would it be a good martial art?

  • @froliciouspanda It is not the art. It is the fighter. It might work well for you or it might work not well for someone else. It all depends how you use it.
