@Ernestorodriguezgil You could actually see some sort of progression in the development of the monster between the two James Whale movies. He starts out silent and then slowly learns to speak. It makes me think that the Universal monster wasn't so far removed from Shelley's intelligent creature if given enough time. All that was lost in the later sequels without Whale, though.

I believe it is "The Bride of Frankenstein". I think this movie surpasses the original, in which the monster is silent.
