yeah. i like them because they dont sound like any other 5.0. most of the others have the flowmasters and they have their own sound but when you hear the violator, it doesnt sound like a 5.0

i think i might order them. i might go with bbk equal length shortys and the pypes h pipe with the violator system. i mean i want it to be loud but i dont want it to be so loud that when i want to hear the radio i cant. mines a convertible too so it will probobly be a bit louder when im driving

yeah man do it. I really like the way mine sounds, everybody compliments the way it sounds.. except some of these youtube trolls. I can hear the radio just fine in the hatch. I wouldnt piss around with equal length shortys, they are a pita, i like the way they look though

is this system loud in person? is it louder than something like flowmaster 40s? im thinking about getting it for my 87 but i dont want something thats like obnoxiously (i know i probobly spelled that wrong) loud

yeah they are louder than fm 40's. with stock headers and 4-cat h-pipe they were actually pretty quiet but now they are a bit obnoxious, I like it though

sounds like my car when i had dynomax bullets and a o/r h-pipe..yea its LOUD..but is it good sounding?..NO. Sounds like a old chevy truck with glasspacks

i had a similar setup, shortys, h-pipe with gutted cats, and the violators, it didnt have much tone to it, just a lot a bark. i switched to the flowmaster super 44s, and i was not disappointed at all. theyre actually louder imo than the violators cause of that shweet flowmaster drone. you can here it for miles, no joke. still a nice mustang though.

yeah they dont have much tone at idle but goddamn do they bark when you get on it! I also have a '90 coupe that is pretty much identical to the GT but with flowmaster 40's and they are not nearly as loud but do have that shweet flowmaster sound we all know

no cats.. with the stock manifolds, catted h-pipe and the pypes violator cat-back it was like quieter than stock

ya i like it, fit was good and it gets obnoxiously loud under hard acceleration hehe and really freed up some horsepwer when compared to the stock crap
