@madierlambert err yeh I know. Read the info box, I asked for constructive criticism. What did your comment offer? ... Nothing. Do you have any exercises to improve my arches?
Uh....yeah, arches are a bit flat.... try some Pointe exercises. Really curve that damn foot. Like you're training for the Bolshoi, like your life depends on it.
Your leg muscles seem nicely defined, especially in the calf... Try wearing tennis shoes more often, with arch supports in the soles.
Keep at it, don't give up. No matter who you are... every dancer, every ballerina, every person needs just some touch or degree of improvement.
you have good placement with your feet (ie. no rolling or sickling) except in your rises you tend to roll onto your big toes. for working your feet all you need is your hands. massage through your arches and the ankles-not so much on your toes. that should improve the flexibility of your feet.
I am not a dancer so I cant tell you about your arches (but looks good to me). However, I can tell you that you got some calves!! Have you tried how many one legged toe raises you can do in a row?
@peter357 haha thanks. They have always been muscley but they are getting bigger and bigger since starting ballet lol. I tried and I can do 50 on each leg and 100 on both legs. I have no idea if that is good or not.
@thedancinggymnast 50 on each leg is very good; implies both really good strength and endurance... At least by gym training standards. Maybe pro ballet girls can do more, I really dont know (but imagne that they can). How long have you been doing ballet and how much have your calves grown since you started?
@peter357 I have only been doing ballet for a couple of months but I have been doing tap and modern for 8 years. My muscles haven't really grown loads, but you can see the two gastrocnemius and they have just got more toned all together.
have u ever heard of 1st position...u should try it sometime. Maybe you should try to push your heels forward also. Terrible.
