Brian Robertson was the best guitar player Motörhead ever had, IMO. He was the most melodic, the one who had more chops, the most creative... It fit Motorhead right. Still, he always fit Thin Lizzy better.

I'm a singer myself. While Lemmy is mediocre at best when it comes to technical skill, he does something that is the sign of a good singer- He knows his range and can play to it.

So he might not be the most amazing singer, but what he does sing, he does well. His voice is perfect for Motorhead songs and that's all we need him for.
