Dude, the best thing is: do not only do this, but in the end, when tails and sonic fly away, then come back into the screen, enter/leave debug mode and press left to see sonic's sprite come back on screen for the last like...2 seconds. xD

It's not a glitch, This is not a glitch as it can be performed without fail. It is a bug.(But just barely) I hate it when people mix these up. Anyways...

I found this glitch not to long ago. Retro games are put together very differently than games today. It was easier to just lock the controls and make sonic run to the left. Explosions were spawned at sonic's X,Y position while he was running. Debug overrides that "lock". Sega didn't have Debug Mode in mind when this was made.

huh? they are in the game. if you actually fight the boss normally and it takes time that big ugly robotic shoots those things out and you have to avoid them or they blow up and you lose rings. but cause its in debug and sonic is busy exploding its so hard to tell whats going on hahahaha

no ur right when he goes in the air if u so choose to run to the otherside of where he was facing when he goes up he will fire the lil bombs and u die if they touch u cause u get no rings here... unless u enter debug mode

hmm debug mode. it seems like the animation which should be the tunnel on fire is programmed as to follow sonic and he isnt meant to move in another direction so the animation only gets terminated when this ending "film" based on game graphics reaches sonics last waypoint. but as he reenters the boss room a new boss gets generated.

If you're on fire, the simplest thing to do would be to burn all of them. One catches fire, another catches fire, and another, and so on.

I sure renember that glitch. I think if you make a 2p warp when you're where Silver Sonic is, you can skip him, then go fight him and robotnik at the same time if you wanted, or evern try fighting Robotnik in that narrow hallway between his and Silver's room.
