BBQing corn on the cob tonight, i made this recipe and it tastes very earth but sweet. I added a spoonfull of white sugar for my own taste...i like it! it's late june so next time I think i'll ice it first, super refreshing and pretty unexpecting for guests at my next BBQ!. I will deffinately be making it again :)
This is actually a type of simple traditional tea in Korea. Just water and corn silk... People drink it instead of just water(just make a big pot of it and store it in the fridge and drink it cold during summer). As someone already mentioned, it's good for urinary problems and if your face gets swelled often, it does wonders. It tastes better if you boil it with brown rice! But it's not recommended for people with kidney problems to drink this tea instead of water.

So nice to see traditions staying alive especially the ones that show us how to not be wasteful.
