  • bright young man. It's so refreshing to see a young person out side, being creative, and doing something that may actually benefit them and our nation in the future. We need more people like you.

  • nice 797

  • PDFs on this and how to wire it up.

  • there is some yaw stability from the sweep back in the wing. like the xb-35. nice

  • This is all cool and everything, but seriously, is that the best place you can find to fly? No not the baseball field either.... geez Join a club... Its hard for me to take any of this seriously when your flying in a cul-de-sac. It's just amateurish.

  • Cool plane!!!! Can I get PDFs or the dimensions of it. I would like to biled one.

  • This is obviously hybrid NAZI UFO technology, communicated from some other star system, via psychic energy!!

Just kidding. I have no idea why so many people have so little faith in human ingenuity?

  • all foam?

  • quackerons > duckerons

  • Could someone explain how many mixes this would require in the tx?

  • Did you do doughnuts with your Hyundai thing??? LOL

  • hello thanks nice job

  • you are so talented

  • Lol at 'Always cut towards yourself' XD

  • landing 1 nice

    landing 2 drift landing

    landing 3 sucide landing

  • nici landing

  • Nice demonstration

  • Brilliant Job really nice innovative plane

  • You are my God.

  • duckairbrakerons!

  • Must have been hard to program that.

  • i almost spoke too soon

  • its kind of hard to say that a plane has no tail when there are 2

  • Was that crash all you as well? Put Dave back on, you're boring.

  • Will you guys be making a PDF of this plane, I'd buy it!

  • This is the best plane I ever seen

  • You're overconfidence is your weakness.

  • Wanna ask you something "Please respond" Can you build a properler with a deeper blade for more thrust?

Plus i need to understand AMP's and voltage what give a brushless motor more speed more volts or more amps?

Example if i want 15,000 rpm and I use two lipo at 5000amh but at 60 amp or a 100 amp can i get the same speed out of a brush motor using less amp controler?

    PLEASE HELP!

  • look closley at 4:00 theres water vapor coming off the elevon

  • Now that i have watched the full video. I say. You need a art stab system installed like B2.

  • You know those wingtips are acting like the rudder. Try and make a plane with no vertical stabilisers what so ever like the B2.

  • Duckerons are actualy called clamshell spoilers.

  • 2018 they will turn on us :)

  • i love how poor scott is like Q from james bond. makes all these crazy things and is real scientific about it. then we have dave who is like bond and destroys these things with his own science of "its fine, its close enough" and "one more time" haha.

i like to think of it as daveology

  • how to mix the servos?

  • can' you guys make a B2 Spirit? i would definitely buy the PDF's for it :D

  • Hey, man awesome design and video. All it needs now is a black paint job and it could be a B-2 stealth bomber. Also, how long did it take you to design this aircraft? Its really cool how you took off the stabilizers and it sorta flew.

  • This is some wonderful tech. What a great plane.

  • you just need to have the duckerons to be a little open all the time.

    great vid by the way

  • Can u make a video to show how to make duckerions

  • shoulda put ur airbrake on at the end there. also, it looks like that used to be a KF airfoil design. am i right?

  • where can I buy this airframe? Please Reply

  • PDFs or it didn't happen.

  • im soo impressed with this way too go.

  • im not a fan of this guy. seems a bit too showy

  • "Duckerons" Heh heh... Funny word... :)

  • Is there a place to get PDF plans?

  • Stop calling them duckerons, they're split ailerons people D: It just sounds... unprofessional lol

  • @RoboTekno it just sounds..... yokel :P

  • Scot, just FYI your description of what this plane is, is incorrect. It is not a blended anything. The term "blended wing body" was invented by the USAF to avoid a lawsuit, by Burnelli for infringement of his Patent #2,586,299.

    Sincerely Jeff

  • this is amazing.....i want that plane haha

  • just wondering why you would cut the stablizers?

  • dave was not back next week scott post is 12 hours after his first time showing up. didn't he tell you what he was doing idk what im talking about never mind

  • 500 Stars! Brilliant!

  • can you make the ud4l dropship from aliens

  • hmmm i wonder how easy it would be to make a b-2

  • @undersk8cops I know right they should totally do tht it wood be the ost hektik plane ever. also bannana hobby released one a whie back yaaay :)

  • @tommomohchicken the b-2 not the alien ship

  • I want one!

  • This is one of the coolest planes yet. Good work! :)

  • amazing landing!

  • please explain this in english.

  • what camera is light enough to mount out on the end of the wing? Great plane and good shots!

  • I have seen this setup on the B2 bomber from Banana hobby

  • where is dave hes more fun to listen 2

  • Veryyyyyyy Niceeeee

  • really great job scott! how many mixers and y-harnesses? or does the big JR do all the mixing without onboard mixers? 5*

  • @shaneeeeak ..You can find out more about this aircraft and the mixing at the Forum URL in the side bar.

  • I love the work you have done here. One of my favorite projects just because how cool it is to watch your control surfaces

  • what radio r u using? DX7? i have one and was wondering if you had to use external mixers for the deckerons???? dunno how to spell it but neways i was wondering if you had to use extra mixers.

    thanks

  • That was a nice aerodynamics demo. Love that camera angle too.

  • Coolest nerd ever.

  • @wolfofworld hes a geek, not a nerd. nerds think that they know what they're talking about, while geeks actually do know what they're talking about. so hes a geek

  • whats wrong with a rudder

  • they're a drag.

  • a very good point.

  • Nothing. This set up is just the shit!!!!!

Duckerons! And amazing airbreaks at the same time!!!

Oh ya and they are also the fucking ailerons and elevators!!!

  • @patryklucarz ....Rudders are not the perfect solution. Flying Wings like the B2 have no rudders or stabilizers. It gives it a low radar cross section and also eliminates some drag which increases efficiency. RCPowers tries to make realistic modals. This aircraft is experimental (meaning: it is for trying out different ideas)..

  • where's dave ?

  • I've been dying to make a plane like that, please please please please please make PDF plans of that plane!

  • looks like you were doing some doughnuts in that traffic circle.

  • Looks just like the Boeing x-48 experimental cargo ship that Boeing, NASA and USAF are working on, very cool, keep up the excellant work!!!

  • Very cool, I like the elegant simplicity of the design. You make it look easy. Keep up the good work!

  • Nice to see that someone has emulated what the B2 bomber has had all along in foamy model. Good job guys!

    Ken :)

  • great video. keep em comming.

  • scotts the kinda guy ide beat up but i still like him

  • @shidoink You sound like a total jackass.

  • @fuduzan5562 totally

  • @shidoink you mean youre gay?

  • @shidoink Scott, a 3rd dan blackbelt, already killed 3 jocks at high school, but thanks to his natural intelligence advantage he managed to hide the bodies each time and get away... Scott-free!

  • Very nice, lol, forget the gyros, and the made up words!

  • niiiice... looks like my stryker without wheels and upper wing

  • Wow, very neat design and I like how the control surfaces work.

  • Hey great job:)

  • @airlinerdude12 ....Next, You're going to tell us you own a Lamborghini Murcielago. If you did it first, it was a big enough deal to record. Talk Is Cheap, Show Us.

  • you should put a ducted fan on this to make it really fast

  • Ducarons? I think the proper term for spoiler-rudder-aileron-elevators would be... spoilrudderailevators. lol :)

  • Spoilerons, lol? i dunno

  • I'm sorry I didn't have my fingers crossed...

Well, when something is 100 % Scott.... Just kidding :P That's a nice plane!

  • Great job. It will be interesting to see the gyro control the yaw. Also, the nature of a swept wing helps naturally in flight similar to dihedral. Keep up the great work.

  • Great work so far

If you can't have a tail to cut threw the air to keep it straight.

Try cutting small slots or V's in the top of your ducarons one on each on the out side will stop it from washing out and keep it stable.

  • Blade called! he wants his classes back!

  • its amazing how much of a difference just a little stabilizer makes

  • As a cientific experiment it was excellent. This is a model so difficult to be understood that it took many years until they developed the Stealth fighters, inspired by the Flying Wing. You should take seriously your talent and work as an engineer.

  • Great job Scott! With a gyro it looks like it will be an awesome flier.

  • whoa, where did this guy come from and where is the funny guy?

  • nice landing

  • I want it.

  • thats how the b2 bomber works

  • Yall fly some of the coolest planes at some of the crappiest flying sites.

  • What kind of camera set up did you have for those fabulous "in the air" shots ? Great video and a great plane.

  • Very very very awesome job!! Still tryin to figure out how he did all the mixing and controls. Keep up the good work!

  • This was amazing. Will this plane be for sale in the future? That took a hit to the ground and stayed together truly well. Have a great night and I hope your week is the best. God bless you all and your families.

  • looooove it!!!

are the pdf files going to be available soon?

  • woah, that thing looks solid, and the landings are beautiful. Well done.

  • i built a flying wing using the microjet motor. 2 servos. elevon mixed and it has no tails. only two ribbons trailing the edges.

  • gratz man! looking good

  • 9,999!!!!

  • 9,999th viewer!!! :DDD great video, too! :)

  • im the 9999 not you!

  • i see an f-35 cant wait

  • isnt it away from yourself right and good job scott as always. Make a name for the things

  • I am amazed at Scott's flying skills. He's the only person I've ever seen with the ability to fly the plane while simulatiously slapping himself on the back.

  • Ha!

  • I don't quite understand how you can create both spoiling and lift at the same time. The idea of spoilers (used on gliders) is to eliminate some of the lift so the glider will be easier to land since it has so much lifting surface. You "spoil" or disrupt normal airflow over the wing to reduce lift. Ok I 'm sounding like a detail-policeman now, sorry.

  • And Ha!

  • More Dave, Less Scott. I was still entertained though.

  • Come on, Scott is already not showing up his face that much in the rcpowers show.

Do you want kick him out of rcpowers?

    Just be nice!

  • Not at all! Scott's a smart guy. Dave just has a better camera presence.

  • so rcsuperpowers is Dave, not Scott right? I got confused. I thought that's a company account.

But I like to see Dave put on his smily face!

  • How did you mix the servos and what radio did you use.....thanks

  • very nice build and very well thought out.

  • Great job with the cameras aimed at the control surfaces.

  • Scott is the man !

  • i dont like scott as much. hut he is much more informative

  • Badassness. :)

  • Scott, This is amazing. What's your background? Have you shown any of this to NASA or any of the real airplane manufacturers? What a great way to easily test out new ideas. You made several changes within a few minutes. That's not possible at ................ As I said, amazing.

  • Thanks for that great video. This is really cool how you show the videos from the side of the plane, but how is that possible? You can never see the camera in the video, you only see what it sees. What kind of camera can hang on the outside of the wing and not be too much weight out there?

  • @darnready The onboard camera was used only when the model was not being filmed externally, so you never see it mounted on the plane! Also, I had to use a counterweight on the other side, UNDER the plane to keep it balanced. I'm very tricky. :)

  • Ohh, very tricky! This is very smart. It would be interesting to see how that is done. What camera is used for this?

  • im never going to get over the term duckerons...

  • ARKBIRD!!!!!!

  • lol. That does look like the Arkbird. From Ace Combat 5 right?

  • Perfect

  • ¿ pero estos aviones se compran hechos o son para que tu los hagas?

  • How come my keyboard doesn't have an upside down question mark on it? :(

  • @RCSuperPowers Hey Scott what happened with the smaller version of the F-35 you was working on? cool flight 5 stars!

  • mine doesn't either....we just aren't special enough for inverted questions. lol

  • can you do a how to video on your control surfaces!! thanks

  • crap, that is an awesome idea with the the yaw + elevators + ailerons + airbrake

    really cool.

  • I think Scott is using à DX7 from Spektrum. Best Radio Ever ! ;o)

    Thanks

  • @unityhPyros I was actually using Dave's JR 9303, but you could pull off the mixing with a DX6...

  • If I press all the buttons on my DX6 at once and stand on my head will it work? plz respnd.

  • @RCSuperPowers only if you have chuck norris watching

  • I had a DX4i and Chuck Norris smashed it over my head when I ax'ed him to sign it for me... :(

  • whaaaa u uploaded this vid on my B-day

  • Really excellent effort, we should definitely get you to come up with some low cost demonstrators to showcase different technical features. Also great to have you explain the control and stability features to explain this concept. Thanks for posting.

  • 2:31 back ground laugh shows what scott's friends think of his infomercial style presentation.

    killer plane though.

  • awsome scott!

  • does that mean the x-36 could use this kinda system, reduces the amount of servos.

  • YES! :D

  • man, scott makes it sound like a commercial just too much!

  • Awesome plane

  • great job scott! looks kinda like a x-47a and a x-47b had a baby. awesome mixing concept. 5*

  • Good work putting this on an rc airplane. Your landings are great!

  • Thats awsome.

  • well done mate nice work

  • Nice one, looks good too.

  • thats crazy! so when do the pdf plans come out :P

  • Awesome design and great flight. Thanks, Scott

  • Well done.

  • Are you saying "duckarons"?

  • i think it needs a gyro Mr. Scott Lott
