I know the original as i bought the record when it was released in the eighties. The maiden version is phenomenal and I like the crowbar version very much. They do what is most difficult when you make covers of great songs: They make it their own and do it very well!!

Blows both metalica and opeth's version out the water . Crowbar actually brought something own to this awesome track wich i think is one of the finer points of doing a cover.

Also check out Crowbar's version of Gary Wright's "Dreamweaver" wich is truly masterful. Gives me goose bumps every time. It is so heavy , deep , haunting and beautifull at the same time.
