@Scottish036 Sorry, I installed this unit 4 years ago. We didn't have decent camera's (or YouTube) back then. This was just a replacement module that I put back in.
I can't believe people actually think this thing works. GM sucks people in to buying these for $600 a pop on their new trucks, by the time some of the poor fools that can't afford their GM Truck at 7 years of payments at 5% get done paying for this, they've paid about $1000... enough money to pay for proper RUST CONTROL like Krowne or Rust Check for 10 years! Give me a break people. You must have slept through chemistry class to even begin to think this works.
Thanks guys for the tread info. I've never paid attention to the arrows before, I will now. BTW, I've never noticed any problems or weirdness while driving??
How good does this work? Does it really prevent rust good? And ya I agree with kevinbhairo your tires are on backwards, the tread is supposted to point forward like an arrow.
@brodie1709 I'll tell you in 10 years on how good it works. You just have to believe in the science. I've only been using it for about 5 years on this vehicle. Installed in year 17 of vehicle, not an optimal install but one none the less. Only have a little rust on rear quarter panel where rear pad is installed. I also prefer my method of installation in regards to powering the unit. I hook it up to a 12v power supply when I pull into my garage.
@Scottish036 ??? I just replaced the dead module with a replacement module in 2011. The original was installed around 2007.
