この映像は私もＣＤに記録している。小学４年生の時に次の日本で­の皆既日食は２００９年です、と言うことをテレビで見て、それま­で生きられるのかなぁと思いました。しかし部分日食でも見たかっ­たのに残念でした。１９５８年４月１９日土曜の、金環日食直前の­日食の時には、私はまだ４歳でしたが、はっきり覚えています。公­園で日食をガラスに煤をつけたもので見ている若者達の中に入って­いて、直接太陽を見ていると、お兄さんが、坊やこれで見てご覧と­か言って、私に貸してくれました。

父は天気がいいのに急に暗くなってきたので、どうしたのかと驚い­ていました。当時はテレビなんて無かったし、新聞を読まないと分­からない状態でした。

日食と災害には関連があると言う説もあります。あの日食後の９月­には、狩野川台風、翌年の９月には伊勢湾台風が来て、多くの人が­亡くなりました。

You are a complete moron. A solar eclipse is the sun, the moon and the earth all being lined up very precisely.

So news flash here -- it has to happen during the day! It might also surprise you that a lunar eclipse is only visible at night. Because a lunar eclipse requires that the moon, earth and sun be lined up so that the earth blocks the sun from hitting the moon.

Please go back to grade school. Even my 6 year-old understands this.

I think the next total solar eclipse is very clsse to Tahiti i n 2010.

In Australia we have one in Novemeber 2012.

To see one, is life changing.
