I want to go there to improve my 日本語. I am still a beginner. I also want to go there to learn more about the culture there. I think their vending machines look awesome also lol.
I guess I´ve always been atracted because of it´s culture, and the people seem soo nice! I love japan´s traditional architecture, and traditions in general. That´s why I became horrified when I saw the tons of videos of "Racism" in Japan against foreigners...investigating more about it. Just saw your video, thanks dude! soy de Costa Rica...se hablar inglés bien!, un así que por ser no precisamente un Americano, igual se interesarian en mí? jaja
TV does not = real world, but dramas do tend to closely model and reflect aspects of the society the depict.
And even if "TV = real world" why would that give me no reason to visit? There are multiple reasons I could visit for. Sight seeing and mountain climbing are good enough for me.
Also, it's not that I have had no experience with the Japanese, just not in Japan. I just completed an Intermediate course in Japaneses Culture and Language, in which I had one of the kindest teachers I've met.
Yes, there is quite a LOT of violence and crime in Japan, especially Tokyo. And on top of that, it has the highest suicide rate in the world.
Also, Japanese people might come off as nice in general, but you should keep in mind, there is something known as hypocrisy. And of course there is that pride-superiority factor in them.
I don't really know why I want to VISIT Japan. I guess I've been influenced by J-drama and anime.
The politeness of japanese people inspires peace in my heart and a friendly enviroment in head. The way they express them selves towards others gives me an example of how we really need to be to have a better future IMHO. That is one of the reasons I dream to visit Japan (and even live there). Raionenjeru desu. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu.

Very pretty girls like Mariko in Japan, the weather ( I really love the emphasized seasons in Japan), the TV any day, everything in Japan seems positive mostly (happy and cheerful), I love Japanese food (really...anything, even Yakitori), the culture (community oriented), the music (not just traditional.. all the genres seem to have their own unique style that sets itself apart from the rest of the world eg. Jero), the cleanliness and attention to detail, the country is beautiful, I lived there.
I travel all over the US and have found that no matter where you go, people are pretty much the same. The culture in New England is different than California but most people just want happiness for their families and friends. Going to Japan will allow me to see it this concept is true around the world. I suspect that it is. By the way, Mariko is beautiful but she speaks to fast for a true moron, such as myself. Sorry only 3 stars
I want to study how uncharismatic people fare in Japanese society, and I want to know what degree of humility, pride, self-promotion and confidence are expected and polite vs how these things actually affect people's success, both socially and professionally.
And I want to live in a city with great public transport, and learn a new language, and experience something other than the sameness that is everywhere in the US.
Whoa! I understood! Unfortunately I still have a hard time making sentences, so my kotae will be in english.

I want to go to Japan (again) because the people are really courteous and respectful of each other, and the public transportation is really efficient. Also the country is amazingly clean.

うん日本はとても面白いですからやっぱり行きたい
Correct me if I made a mistake (^ω^)
Ido013 2 years ago
It's ok... but I would have said.
うん. 日本はとても面白いですね。やっぱり行きたいなー。
In this sentence, から and やっぱり have similar meanings. Another alternative to your sentence is...
うん。日本はとても面白いので、やっぱり行きたい。
うん。日本はとても面白いので、やっぱり行きたい。
Those are MY options. A native friend suggested this...
うん、日本は面白いから行きたい。
Gimmeaflakeman 2 years ago
Is ので a way to create a pause to say you're going to add more to the sentence?
As for the native option, do they remove the 「とても」 since I'm already using a verb ending in たい?
