LOL Have you even watched the video?

  • please tell me how you taught it respond to the clicker..... i have a white mouse radar and a hammy and was wondering if the clicker thing works on both of htem ....

    much obliged

    az199349

  • @az199349 that's very easy, click -> give treat ... click-> give treat... they'll soon connect it en then click means: you deserved a treat!

  • @az199349 and yes, it works on both of them, I've got a fancy mouse and russian hamster, they both know clciker-training

  • how can you train it to responce te the clicker?

    \

  • what is that litle target thing?

can you use it to train gerbils? my new gerbils don't really like treats so its very difficult to train them agility when they have no target

  • how long shoudl a sission last, and how many times a day should have a session?

  • that's so cool. he's so smart! what treat do you use?

  • Fun...I want to click train my mouse. I think Ophilia would go for this but Verona would just think, "Your crazy just give me the food."

  • wow thats so cool,i tried it on my hamsters but they r too lazy!u hav a clever pet!!!!

  • hello I have a few question, I hope you can help me...

I have a white mouse (I don't know the age, I tink less that a year) how can I train my mouse, if you can teach me or give me some tips... this is the first time I have a mouse so I don't know much

what age is recomended to start train one mouse?

the tecnique you do is the only to train a mouse?? or are another?

if you can help me... or give me some place to find info

    thanks!

  • wow really clever cute mouse u must b proud xx i might try clicker training on my dog xx some time

  • You obviously care for your mice which is a big part of why they are trainable!! I love your technique and am going to try it with my rats!!!! Thanks for the amazing videos!!!

  • You are great :-) Was surprised with the fact that he caught on straight away. The clicker is an amazing tool but I had never seen it used on mice. Great :-D

  • can you please tell me what you use as a reward, how u taught him/her to like the clicker xxx

  • Could you please tell me what you suggest for using as the treat?

& how did you originally train your mouse to associate the clicker with the treat?

    Thank you! Great mouse!

  • what treat r u givn him ?? also how old is he ??

  • read, it says hes one year old

  • I didn`t know that the wheel is bad for injuries their spine... I just read that in the link of the description, so I will need a better cage..

    Thanks

  • what is the point of the clicker, a mouse trap?

  • Was that a serious question?

The mouse associates the click with a reward (which he has previously been... taught to do). So when he does what you want him to, that click will tell the mouse he's doing something he will be rewarded for, and hence, he will do it. ''Walking through this equals food!''

    I could be wrong, though.

  • what breed of mouse is this? this looks interesting and im thinking about giving it a try. any tips? tricks? also, i would very very like if you sent me a message briefly explaining how to start?

  • this is amazing! can you post a video on just clicker trainging please? you have smart mice1

  • Amazing! This is the first time I've ever seen a mouse clicker trained. This makes me consider becoming a mouse owner :] How do you first aquaint them to the sound of the clicker?

  • were did u get that target stick? because i need one so i can teach my mice. I have 5 and 2 of them are relt good but they cant do agility in the order that i have it in. :)

  • i was surprised when i heard the click. it gave me goosebumps! :<

  • how many mice do you have?

  • I'm inspired! but I don't have that relationship with my "mice" (gerbils)..

  • Very cute and impressive!

    Tammy

  • mouse~

  • thats brilliant!

you might not but it looks like you have lots of cute little mice!<3 haha

but no i love watching your videos!

  • Wow thats amazing

  • is there a specific clicker that is best for mice? i read the dog ones can hurt their ear'oles

  • i use a normal loud dog clicker, but i would NOT recommend this for all mice (there are some special clickers for sensitive animals)! as prey animals, mice are extremely sound sensitive, so they need ABSOLUTE trust in the owner to accept such a loud noise. but it's a psychological problem, not a physical one (you could clearly see in his body language if this was painful for him).
