  • Great video...but you are never suppose to sew over your pins!! Much safer to remove them!!

  • This is the best tutorial I've seen on satin blanket binding, thank you so much. And you're so cute, too, makes it all the more fun to watch!! lol

  • Good video -- but REALLY -- the word is satin with a T in the middle. It's no sa'in.

  • Thankyouthankyouthankyou!!! This is exactly what I needed! Brilliant work!

  • Thank you this was exactly what I needed. I think your makeup looks very nice!

  • Great video. It helped a lot. You have too much eye makeup on, though!

  • Where do you find sating binding? I'm looking online and seeing some 2" satin binding - is that the standard size? Great tutorial!

  • @KentandAdam You can find it at Joanns...yes it normally is 2", but it is also double fold..

  • Wow, I made my first fleece blanket the other day but wanted to do this. Thanks for a clear tutorial! Yours was excellent!

  • Thank you so much for this video! It was the first one I found (after an exhaustive search) that showed details with a verbal explanation ~ So, so appreciated!!!

  • This was the first video I clicked and so helpful, thank you so much for posting! I have only done one edge before and didn't like how it turned out. I'm going to be helping my teenage sister-in-law make a blanket for a cousin, so I want to teach her right. : )

  • Thank you so much for this! I have not sewn anything for over 20 years and felt like tackling a blanket and this video was perfect. I did it first go! So much better than the other videos on youtube on this topic as you used ribbon that stood out from the fabric and the close-ups were great! I sewed by folded corners though as the blanket was for my 2 year old and I wanted it to withstand the wear and tear.

  • This was so helpful! Does the zigzag stitch keep the satin from fraying thus preventing the need to fold under the satin?...i hope that makes sense :).

  • This was a great tutorial, you made it look so easy! Did you not sew the corners?? I think I will sew the corners on mine. And I thought your finger nails were fine!

  • @baalamo We didn't sew down the slant of the corners but that is always an option if you want. Thanks!
