Videos are what screwed up a lot of the good bands from the late 70's. Once they got into the 80's bands were worried more about being TV Stars. Doc Holliday was awesome live and can still rock.
Why bother going on a Doc Holliday video and rant about them, it is disgusting, I'd love to see proof of you blow them out of the water because your word isn't good enough for me.
To be fair, this was a brave experiment that did not fulfill its potential. For a better example of Doc Holliday, check out their two previous albums, DOC HOLLIDAY and DOC HOLLIDAY RIDES AGAIN, as well as the album after this experiment, DANGER ZONE, to discover the true Doc Holliday.
Thanks Comboland. Jamie Deckard here. I played drums on Doc's 4th album, Danger Zone. It's nice to know people appreciate effort to do something positive for others. Peace.
sounds like a cross between scorps and priest - hey the timing was right - check out the striped shirt - very mathias jabs LOL!! great band - just went the wrong way - hindsight 20/20
I did alot of opening slots for these guys back in the day. They were a great southern rock band. This is not what Doc Holliday was about. This is what happens when booking agents get involved in creative decisions.
As a long time Doc Holliday fan I really, REALLY, wished you had kept this "in the vault" forever. How embarrassing. Granted, even Hatchet and Blackfoot "went 80's" for a little while on us but never to this extent. Ugh, ugh........UGH!!!!
Back when I was in college radio, an album by Blackfoot came in. They were trying to evolve too, spraypainting their sound with digital synths. Good luck with this project, and thanks for posting! It is indeed a well-crafted vid, a welcome change from those that look like they were edited with a food processor.
PKM, DOC HOLLIDAY & NANTUCKET!!!!!! Kings of the Raleigh NC 80's scene.

We (Renegade) used to blow these guys out of the water back in the day. Are they still around? Where's Jamie Deckard?

It sure aint 'The South Will Rise Again'! (A classic tune from this band when they were pure Southern Rock)
