@bassist21685 its actually harder then it looks, i snowboard and good at it. igot a freebord, the wheel in cent cant be on the two wheels you always have to be on a edge... and always your helmet and proper on. i feel on mine and my helmet came off, i fractured my skull and a major concustion, almost died too. if you ride them you gotta learn slow, unlike me bombing big hills with cracks and rocks. i could do them no problem, then jackass car out infront of me and i tryed to stop but hit a crack

One question, I recently bought the downhill pro board. The center wheels basically have a mind of their own. They don't move 'with' me. And the foot-holds slide CONSTANTLY.

@shockblok just keep practicing man, you'll get the hang of it eventually

tighten your bindings if they're sliding and check that the springs in your centre wheels aren't jammed or anything, as long as you can spin them around 360 with your hands then there's nothing wrong with them and it may be a case of you 'not moving with' the centre wheels, rather than them not moving with you.

keep practicing and eventually it will all 'click'

@shockblok I'm not sure if ur saying that ur center wheels are faulty or not, but assuming theyre not, I agree with how difficult it is to control at first, it just takes a lot of practice n u hav to remember that altho it looks like a skateboard, it rides like a snowboard, n nothing like ur longboard

Remember to always keep your weight centered over ur bord, never lean out from the bord like u would on a longboard, instead use ur knees, ankles and shoulder rotation to control turns and slides.

@shockblok if that's no help, or if it's a technical problem with ur freebord u can try asking for advice on the freebord community forum on their website, there's plenty of other riders who would be happy to help or answer any questions.

Just stick with it, it took me days to even have ANY real control over my first freebord, and a couple weeks before i was riding it properly, but once it does 'click' its one of the most rewarding and THE most controlled ride on wheels

I've just learned about these "freebords" I an avid snowboarder and used to skateboard a lot when I was younger. My question is: how quickly do these wheels wear out? Do they come in different hardness' like skate wheels do?

@gillzj00 Yeah They do wear out fast and yes the softer wheels wear out faster, you should get the slasher wheels, they are specialy made for sliding and dont wear out as fast but are a bit more expensive
