  • how much did using the studio cost?

  • depends on the studio. the lowest i've ever seen was about 500$ but some people i know have payed aroun 5k. might just depend on the amount of songs your recording.

  • What did I tell you girl.. there you are, doing just what I've been telling you to do all the time :) Im proud of you dear.. you sound just so natural and lovely.

  • I bought MyHope! Good stuff.

  • so I didn't see this in my sub window.:( you are so awesome!!!!

  • wow! awesome. congrats :)

  • Awesome. I happy for you

  • i cant tell that your not singing in tune....

or is that part of the magic withheld in video editing?

  • How's the new song coming?

  • You rock my socks

  • Yay Molly! Isn't the studio experience fun? Even when it seems frustrating, it's still a lot of fun. I'm proud of you for doing this.

  • quick question ...are you like me in the sense that when you hear your recorded voice you want to punch yourself in the face or is it just me ... and im not saying i want to punch you in the face im saying that i sometimes record songs and i hate the sound of my own voice recorded... but i love singing...eh

  • I'm pretty sure this is almost universal. Quote from Adam Duritz (Counting Crows lead singer) : "I'd rather slit my f***ing wrist than listen to myself sing". Granted, he's known for being of somewhat low self esteem...

I'm pretty sure I've heard similar quotes from Bono, Sting, Alanis Morissette, and so on and so forth though.

  • I hate my own voice, but apperently ppl around me like it. For me, it sounds distorted and weird, but you'll get used to it aswell... XD

  • I thought I'd be used to it since I record and watch myself singing all the time - but the clarity of the studio recording was kinda bizarre.

Turns out I can't sing in tune. Who knew?

  • There's no such thing as singing "in tune." Your singing is great.

  • One step further...

  • How much was the studio time? How long until your sales of this song are triple the cost of production? ^_^

  • YAY! My *favorite* song!

  • Gotta have a montage, MONTAAAAGE!!!

  • W00t! Now I've finally got some Molly on my iPod. Exactly what the music gods demanded.

  • You're moving up in the world! ;-)

  • no way! i say huzzar too!!!!!!

(6 exclamation points tend to make everything more exciting)

  • congrats, hows the happy song writing going?

  • a Dollar?

    i`m buying... hehe

  • Nice stuff!

  • You should definitely aim for that gold uke Paul and Storm were talking about on twitter. Or, at least have some sort of golden-uke-devil-showdown (a la, Devil Went Down To Georgia).

  • hoorah!

  • Congratulations, Molly! Next, you need to recruit a band.

  • yay, so cool! i am so excited to finally be able to download these songs, and i am excited for all the songs to come! (no pressure.)

  • mp3's should be free until you release an album, then charge us through the teeth.

Goodluck though, you're a great songwriter.

  • You know...Andrew Bird does that chair thing...kinda.

  • Congratulations, Molly. That's awesome.
