how much did using the studio cost?

depends on the studio. the lowest i've ever seen was about 500$ but some people i know have payed aroun 5k. might just depend on the amount of songs your recording.

I'm pretty sure this is almost universal. Quote from Adam Duritz (Counting Crows lead singer) : "I'd rather slit my f***ing wrist than listen to myself sing". Granted, he's known for being of somewhat low self esteem...

I hate my own voice, but apperently ppl around me like it. For me, it sounds distorted and weird, but you'll get used to it aswell... XD

I thought I'd be used to it since I record and watch myself singing all the time - but the clarity of the studio recording was kinda bizarre.

Turns out I can't sing in tune. Who knew?
