Records with a cut groove in plastic and analog recordings were sweeter sounding than todays hard glassy digital CDs. The records sounded well oiled, smooth , going down.  And you can play a record with a tin foil cone attached to a common pin, and get the sound. A million years from now the Records will be playable and the CDs meaningless. Plastic Groove, is what they will know about us, when all our fancy junk is unintelligible scrap junk . Think about that. Save Records.

Ok it's 1970.................college in Miami, Floridia is off the hook...........yes we cracked the books...........but the parties the clubs! Anyhow the hottest and I mean hottest club in Miami at the time was the 'Hump' at the Marco Polo........just south of Golden Beach where the homes were millions and the cops busted anything that seemed to move alone A1A (Collins Avenue).

Spill the Wine is played to death over every local station....and the house band at the Hump..do a fantatstic cover!

If it cleans the scratch-noise from the recording , I'll use it. However I may keep some of the low-level "clicks and pops" just so I don't forget it's an LP. They're almost part of the song!

Check Thrift Stores, DAV, Goodwill, Salvation Army, you can see what your getting. Most Thrift stores ell them for a buck in any condition. I have found many Near Mint Records this way over the yrs.
