I so badly want to learn this beautiful language of Russian, but I think I got alot to learn before I can remember this phrase. It is however worth it though I think it shows the person your dating or for me that they matter

Coming from the ballroom dance world I run into a lot of Russian women, now I know how to compliment them. That's probably coolest thing about learning this language, I wish they had a program that show both formal and informal Russian. :)
@luvisacigarette8 its just just the pronounciation... like some people say "Ya" and some say "Yes" or just because its techinally "no" but if you say it fast it "nah:
That's because of a fonetic rule in Russian, when the letter "o" is not stressed in the word, then it's pronounced as an "a". So u actually say "velikAlépnA", cuz none of the "o" are stressed (the stress is on the letter "e").
Another example: the word "Xорошо" - which means "good" - is pronounced as harashÓ. The last "o" is pronounced as an "o" because it's stressed, the first ones aren't, so they sound like an "a". Hope I explained myself good enough to understand
@Marco007Marco007 aa, well I said that because in one of her video she says: yeah teh byah loo bloo (Я тебя люблю) well if you speak russian please answer me to let me know =)
@haraya07 Я тебя люблю is "I love you" but you would use it for friends. Я люблю тебя is I love you, but in a romantic way. I don't speak Russian but I may be able to help you because I know some :) Just message me if you need any help :)
@Marco007Marco007 thank you very much, if you wouldnt say me I'd still thinking that Я тебя люблю is the right way to say I love you to a girl =p xd, btw my english is not good so be patient with me, and if you can, please give me text to translate or pages where I can learn more...
the fact is that in Russian you can interchange the words as you want. it depends on what exactly you want to put the focus. and sometimes it does not matter, the meaning is the same.
we can say:
1) я тебя люблю
2) я люблю тебя
3) тебя люблю я
4) тебя я люблю
5) люблю тебя я
6) люблю я тебя
all options are acceptable. but they are different
@nehvatilofantazii Russian is easy for me but that's because I speak Bosnian and it sounds so similar! In Bosnian we say Volim Te but you can also say "Ja tebe ljubim" which means I love you and sounds similar to the Russian one. ;) Slavic languages are best <3
fuck me thats a hard one to repeat afterwards.... I literally replayed this video 20 times... not mad though... nice eye

Why is there only one word or phrase per video...?
And this is formal, what is the informal?
And is this for a man or a woman?
Russian is not as simple as this video makes it seem!

2) Copy all of these steps.
3) Go to two other video.
4) Paste it in the comments.

@Subliminalverse13
Thanks. That was a great explanation. It's too bad I never got to say this to the girl I had in mine. haha
luvisacigarette8 4 months ago
@luvisacigarette8 this is because in our language, pronunciation and spelling of words is different.
one simple rule. if the "o" is not under stress, then it is pronounced as "a"
nehvatilofantazii 1 month ago
@nehvatilofantazii what do you mean under stress? i always used to pronounce the o as o i wasnt sure if it should sound like a or o.
