  • @Estalonge2007 Google translate it wrong. It doesn't translate right.

  • I'm trying to read the pronunciation but she keeps drawing my eyes to her :(

  • Russian 101 just became Russian 102! Yikes!

  • Спасибо, вы тоже.

  • Why is there only one word or phrase per video...?

And this is formal, what is the informal?

And is this for a man or a woman?

Russian is not as simple as this video makes it seem!

  • Вы выглядите великолепно

  • oh damn, i though that's kind of rap.

  • Алёна мой хуй Великолепен

  • Алена выглядит великолепно.

  • I so badly want to learn this beautiful language of Russian, but I think I got alot to learn before I can remember this phrase. It is however worth it though I think it shows the person your dating or for me that they matter

  • You look wonderful tio

  • Oh gosh!!! T.T my tongue can't pronounce this sentence! so difficult :````````````(

  • Were Russians drunk when they created their language?

  • THATS SO HARD

  • Coming from the ballroom dance world I run into a lot of Russian women, now I know how to compliment them. That's probably coolest thing about learning this language, I wish they had a program that show both formal and informal Russian. :)

  • why does "wonderful" end in "no" when you say it slow but when you say it faster it ends in "nah"?

  • @luvisacigarette8 its just just the pronounciation... like some people say "Ya" and some say "Yes" or just because its techinally "no" but if you say it fast it "nah:

  • @luvisacigarette8

That's because of a fonetic rule in Russian, when the letter "o" is not stressed in the word, then it's pronounced as an "a". So u actually say "velikAlépnA", cuz none of the "o" are stressed (the stress is on the letter "e").

Another example: the word "Xорошо" - which means "good" - is pronounced as harashÓ. The last "o" is pronounced as an "o" because it's stressed, the first ones aren't, so they sound like an "a". Hope I explained myself good enough to understand

  • @Subliminalverse13

Thanks. That was a great explanation. It's too bad I never got to say this to the girl I had in mine. haha

  • @luvisacigarette8 this is because in our language, pronunciation and spelling of words is different.

one simple rule. if the "o" is not under stress, then it is pronounced as "a"

  • @nehvatilofantazii what do you mean under stress? i always used to pronounce the o as o i wasnt sure if it should sound like a or o.

  • I would not want to hear a Russian dub of an Eric clapton song

  • The first word and the last one is OK, but that middel portion gets me down.

  • eu amo suas aulas ...linda obrigada

  • I've been doing pretty good at remembering these Russian words up until now. I think I may just pretend that this phrase doesn't exist.

  • @HeroOfTime121 LOL i just thought the same thing mate.. too hard ==

  • @HeroOfTime121 at first i was like why would you pretend it doesnt exist? then i watched the video...

  • Its funny because im looking at many of these videos but I can't remember what she is say because im not takeing time to remember this.

  • i love her shirt. this one is really hard to say...wow.

  • 0:37 is she saying "If you like slurring more...,subscribe to the channel..."?

  • @kickingpluto ikr I had the same idea

  • i dont speak chinese sorry

  • @TehDarkBlood thats bc you're an igoramus... thats chinese for ignorant/lazy/douche

  • @m0isturiz3r lol why

  • yay now i know how to say "You Look Wonderful" in Russian thank you so much :)

  • Comment removed

  • @KickingPluto say her Yeah teh byah loo bloo, is easier

  • @haraya07 No, that's wrong. You would say ya loo-boy-ouf teb-ya (Я люблю тебя) which is I love you in Russian

  • @Marco007Marco007 aa, well I said that because in one of her video she says: yeah teh byah loo bloo (Я тебя люблю) well if you speak russian please answer me to let me know =)

  • @haraya07 Я тебя люблю is "I love you" but you would use it for friends. Я люблю тебя is I love you, but in a romantic way. I don't speak Russian but I may be able to help you because I know some :) Just message me if you need any help :)

  • @Marco007Marco007 thank you very much, if you wouldnt say me I'd still thinking that Я тебя люблю is the right way to say I love you to a girl =p xd, btw my english is not good so be patient with me, and if you can, please give me text to translate or pages where I can learn more...

  • @Marco007Marco007 аххха)))

the fact is that in Russian you can interchange the words as you want. it depends on what exactly you want to put the focus. and sometimes it does not matter, the meaning is the same.

    we can say:

    1) я тебя люблю

    2) я люблю тебя

    3) тебя люблю я

    4) тебя я люблю

    5) люблю тебя я

    6) люблю я тебя

all options are acceptable. but they are different

  • @nehvatilofantazii Russian is easy for me but that's because I speak Bosnian and it sounds so similar! In Bosnian we say Volim Te but you can also say "Ja tebe ljubim" which means I love you and sounds similar to the Russian one. ;) Slavic languages are best <3

  • Alena, vi viglyadite velikolepno...

  • @niki0793 vi is the way you'd say it to an older person/group of ppl. if you want to say that to her, you'd say : thee viglyadish velikolyepno
