i feel that any sort of "relationship potential" that generated by the "filler" is merely in the minds of the viewers (particularly those against NaruHina). I feel like the episode was more about Hinata than anything. It was her story arc coming to fruition as she finally transformed from the shy little girl cheering from the shadows and changed into this beautiful young woman willing to stand up and fight for what she wanted. And she fought not because anyone else wanted her to but for herself.
At this point of the manga...there is no cotest anymore,Sakura is still in love with Sasuke,as showed in the medical tent when the white zetsus were atacking. And in chapter 573,a strong moment of Hinata and the future she want with Naruto.
...And that everybody is going to get killed by that stupid EMO IDIOT WHO IS DRUNK WITH HATE >.<

And, like you said it impacted Naruto the same, so why are they complaining? He still went 6 tails. The animation was amazing, like better than the movies.
