  • part two - when it was learned later that the family paid to have the story written as it was, the owner of the paper insisted on the truth coming out in a later story.

  • Robert's son, Robert Jr set up a garage to fix windshields called Windshield Medics... except his only goal was to entice young boys to work at the garage and then sexually abuse him. Justice finally caught with him when a father of one of his young boy victims took matters into his own hands and killed him...the newspaper that ran the story up a yarn about Booby driving off the road and nailing a vegetable stand... continued above.

  • Robert W Scoville, Sr late of San Antonio, Tx was a former Marine and the exact opposite of Col Howard. After having been caught having sex with young German boys in WW2, he was sent back home and drummed out of the Marines. His whackjob son, Richard Morton Scoville carried on the pedophile tradition and was also caught having sex with underage boys, first back in Conn where he grew up and then in San Antonio, where the family moved after more allegations surfaced about dear old dad...

  • Richard Morton Scoville of San Antonio, Texas is a pedophile according to many messages on the internet. Google his name for more info on a true internet k00k.

  • Semper Fi Col. Robert Howard

  • Great story, great man...if you like this story look into Roy P. Benavides (from Cuero, Texas) also a recipient of the MOH during his time in Vietnam.

  • This deserves way more views than what it has. As a fellow service member, I have nothing but immense respect for this guy. Rest in peace.

  • medals from the government, suuure, thats what makes a person so tough

  • @MrComparan No, it is not physical medal that makes him tough. It is the willingness of this man to defend YOUR freedom at any expense including his own life. It is his pride, love of America and selflessness that makes him tougher that those that criticize him! -respectfully

  • Thank you...

  • Thank you Sir. May you find rest and peace beyond the gates of heaven.

  • God Bless. Thank you, sir.

  • now thats a hero

  • It's July the 3rd 2010 and I was watching the T.V. and they were honoring Medal of Honor recepience and I was looking for Colonel Howard and I didn't see him. Then I looked for why on the internet and I found that he had died. I hoped I would some day see him again. But I will always remember him. He was the kind of person you never forget. It was an honor to have worked for him. A real honor.

  • 07/03/10 ... God bless him he was a true hero.
