  • The first poster is exactly right. Different styles will have variations, but in essence it will be just as it says: "Basic form 1". As far as the video goes, 10/10 Superior; Flawless, powerful, and beautiful to watch.

  • "kibon" means basic. "Basic form 1" is performed differently by various systems and schools within systems. This is how we do it at Norfolk Karate Academy. It really doesn't matter as long as the moves are fundamentally sound.
