It's a damn fine band regardless of the negative comments. I'm a former bandsman and I appreciate the hours of practice it takes to get this good. These young men and women are to be commended.
Some bands don't wish to sell out to popular culture. Some bands have a duty to preserve the honor and integrity of military tradition that may otherwise be forgotten in the midst of constantly changing times. Since this band has clearly earned and kept enough respect to still have the unwavering support of students even now, why would they change? It's not about entertaining every fan in the country- it's about paying due respect to an honorable state history by maintaining tradition.
It doesn't really make sense to argue over which band is better. You are comparing apples and oranges. They are different styles. What the Aggie Band does, it does well. And what the Aggie Band does is what most bands did about 50 years ago.
Umm, if it wasn't for bands like this one, there wouldn't be all of these shitty show bands around. Damn!!! This is marching, not that dancing around crap.
This is boring. Did you hear all the people in the stands reciting "The Nationally Famous Texas Aggie Band" together? Brainwashed. Maybe if they say it enough, they will start to believe it. Tennessee's band and Ohio State's band blow this crap out of the water.
FUCK YOU, why did you even come to a Texas A&M video, just to bash it...how about you go into the MSC and say that, see what happens when you mess with 1,000 proud Texas Aggies!
This is basically the same crap over and over again. Heck, I think I could do this same stupid and boring redundant routine. Hey Aggie! Break outdated occult routines and get a real marching band and get rid of the milkman dorky guy cheerleaders and get some girls to be cheerleaders. You people are weird and dorky.

I don't care what people say - the Texas A&M band is my favorite in the Big 12.
