:) It's not particularly useful by any means, but it is fun. Probably pretty hard to find these days I'm glad mine came with it.

I've really got to do some more videos, running through an LCD so I don't get the scan issues.

exactly right. Essentially, the refresh rate of the CRT monitor combined with the shutter speed of the camera produces this effect. If I used and LCD monitor it wouldn't happen. On a PC I could bump up the refresh rate, but that can't be done in games on old Acorns.

Why is it that sometimes black lines keep rolling up across the screen and at other times they're not seen? Is this because of your camera?

Yeah but it was impressive back in the early 90s when this machine was produced. A full multitasking 32-bit OS which I would say is still more user friendly than systems produced today. I can only dream of what acorn machines would be capable of today if they didn't go under due to british management.

@chrisuk82 Amiga was fully multi-tasking in 1987.

Engh. Not too impressive today.

I'm running 2 copies of Windows on top of Linux through VMWare. I have MAME, UAE, VICE, XMESS, and a load of other emulators for consoles too.

It's pretty crazy today what you can do.

@fuzzywzhe Duh! Of course it's not impressive compared with todays technology. I think the guy was hoping on the viewer (you and me) having enough intelligence to discriminate between the technology of today and what was on offer when this was new. Wasn't that blatantly obvious to you?
