  • Lol, so much wannabee kids out there. new york is one of d best places to live in. in d begining they say its nice, and then that stupid kid starts talking about its hard. well kids life sucks if your lazy and dont work.

  • @tysswe1 yea u right about somethings but then kno where in new york is safe prolly except for the mansions be at nd shit, cus im from brooklyn nd its not even the place to be no matter watchu see on these videos

  • @MaziiHD let him watch this. get in contact with me

  • You did a great job. You got a future with this.

  • Nice edits but I would say if the doc had more direction it would've been better. Its kind of all over the place and it doesn't really give me the feel of "Life in Brooklyn" just a bunch of people talking about the streets, violence, whatnot. Not really what life is like in Brooklyn. You did a good job with the edits and the visuals.

  • Everybody's Good at Something..1 Life to live to Live that shit man.Once u dead that's it.it's over. Open your mind and think about what you do we got so many abilities.

Add me and Sub to my page.

  • This jawn is good business, my man. I see you posted it three years ago though. The streets is feenin for a longer one son! Haha.

    Stay positive homie

  • Nice docu style film, thanks for sharing man!

PS what did you get for your school project? An A+ i hope :)

  • @krosfyah A+ I wish! the teacher criticized most of it though. But I like it. I get positive feedbacks from lots of people too, so that makes me happy. Im happy you like!

  • @stevenchy7386 yo i just came back to watch again, i still think you should have got an A+, don't listen to teach LOL ;)

You know what i like about this - it's sad, it shows the real hardness of the young streets and how our kids have to grow up quick just to survive. But you know what i REALLY like? The overwhelmingly positive message that comes out from these young'uns, even those caught up in badness.

When i go to live in Brooklyn i will try to be as positive as these guys, it's inspiring

  • Dope video. You did a fantastic job.

  • bk ngga my hole life ....n u showed more spnsh dudes then blk ......dats not btooklyn......u was scared 2 go otha hoods huh?.....its ok lol............look like a BX doc

  • @stevenchy7386 man fuck ur teacher man. he/she is a hater. they dont kno what kind of time and effort it takes to make things like this. this was also very well constructed nigga so i applaud tht as well

  • i liv ein calgary canada, but fuck iw ish i lived in brooklyn or bx man straight up

  • my concrete jungle

  • nice documentary

  • i was just here yesterday and to me, NY life has gotten much better since i was a kid. bushwick and bed-stuy were the roughest areas, but the hipsters are moving in... just make sure they dont push you all out.

ps: the best part of this video was the kid describing the difference between being a dad and being a father. let's hope he sticks with that when he grows up. it'd be a nice change.

  • @TheSocialWh0re but he kinda got it back words cuzs a father is what u r cuz u have a kid and a dad is more then just father he stays around and teaches u stuff.

  • wow mcdonalds is food the ghetto needs a wake up call.park slope 4 ev nice neighborhood good schools

  • mcdonalds is food how sad..

  • Brooklyn is held in your heart. We have the world in front of us, but will always hold a fondness for Brooklyn. Everyplace has its ups and downs, and Brooklyn's uniqueness is what makes us love it!

  • It is not your fault that you were born into neighborhoods that did not offer more opportunity, safety, guidance and support. It is not your fault that your schools are failing you, and giving you 1 overwhelmed, out of touch guidance counselor that cannot possibly understand your kind of issues. So I say this to you with love, FIND A MENTOR, take their knowledge, FOCUS, and watch in less than 5 years your life will be in a much, much better place. I love the cook - you can do it!

  • BK ALL DAY

  • nice work.

  • yea brooklyn flatbush get it poppin, best believe that

  • lion2010 yo son suck a dick .

  • Go Suck your dad's!

  • Brooklyn will soon just get worse then it was in the 70's - 90's once the recession hits hard... Move out while you still can!

  • No it won't, the yups aren't going anywhere. The only thing that will get them out is if it stops being "trendy" for them to move here.

  • Once they start noticing their fellow hipster/yuppies getting jumped, they will move out. everything will change, their stores will close down, their beloved starbucks is already closing down some stores.... This recession will possibly turn into a depression and if these hipster/yuppies don't move out soon, they will be stuck in the hood and might not even make it out alive...

  • No they won't man, these yups have no common sense. They walk around at 3am in Bushwick with headphones on, you think they are going to move out of a neighborhood after they get robbed?? They are too stupid to do that.

Look at Crown Heights. The yups have been getting bashed over their heads for their ipods, iphones, and laptops in Crown Heights for years now, and they're still flooding in and pushing the natives out block by block. Shit is a lost cause, they're taking over.

  • Well If they don't leave the neighborhoods soon, they will get killed in them...

  • wat are yups and hipsters?

  • most yups are very aloof but i admit when they come around the neighborhood definitly upgrades 1000%.Park slope 4 eva

  • What do you mean by "upgrade"? In Park Slope, all of the normal supermarkets and businesses have been pushed out to make room for useless overpriced hipster yuppie garbage, e.g., mediocre trendy restaurants and 'gourmet' supermarkets. I don't call that an upgrade.

  • Brooklyn\Bronx are like the baddest places to live in on the East Coast

  • im from brooklyn, but my family is from dc... and i agree but baltimore and south east and north east dc are rough too

  • look like niggas in watts

  • I can agree with that I dont know too much about Brooklyn but NorthEast DC where Iam from its crazy but thet are fixing that shit so it dont look like it use too in certain parts. And you already know how Southeast get down.

  • @bmore1625 I don't like them trying to make it all hipster-ish,

  • @byronking2369 What do you mean are you talking about how DC is changing and we are starting to following what other cities are doing.Cause I remember when we use to have our own style and niggas copied us.

  • @bmore1625 No . . . I'm talking about how they TRYING to gentrify it up. and I still think DC still has its own style. that the rest of the dmv follows after DC makes it hot. like that big bushy hair girls wear. and the nike boots. and the whole adidas, and pumas. and nike stuff

  • Brooklyn looks a shithole..

  • It is. Please tell everyone not to come here.

  • nice editing and movie btw

  • why is everybody so sad and scared.

everybody is like: o its so hard but why?

  • they need to change thier mindset

  • well, that's how i felt until i lived here. now i understand the problems in "hoods" like in brooklyn have deep roots in the government. there are very unproductive social programs here available to youths, the older generations are struggling with health problems and many are immigrants (legal/illegal), there's alot of people here that want to do better, but can't because of how they'be been categorized economically/socially. It sucks. True many don't care, but anotherr many does.

  • yea thats right stay in skool to have a life for ur future and for all of us n wanna survive get a job neva give up n if ya got a problem just use ur mind don't fuck up don't make it worst

  • What Would You Call Him If He Were Vietnamese? Or Polish?

  • first i liked the vid but y u put up the mental diseased kid in there?

  • hahaha, he's not ill.
