@irais2808 He was going to play the lead, Keroro, when ADV had it, but then FUNimation got it and now Todd Haberkorn plays him and Vic has no role.

Well I think because Jerry Jewell actually sounds close to the original voice actor of Kaworu.

I've heard that, so I'll have to listen to original Kaworu again, but Greg has shared at least 3 roles with Akira Ishida, so it can't be that far off. As I expected, Greg Ayres was very unhappy about not reprising Kaworu. What's worse is that he was looking forward to voice him again when he was called in to record more Evangelion, and it wasn't until he actually recorded that he was told that he was voicing Kensuke, and not Kaworu. It makes no sense anyway...

He said that at the Voice Actor Round Table on Sunday, the day after this panel. Unfortunately, I was out of room on my SD cards, so I couldn't record that. Anyway, I got the 1.11 Blu-ray today, so I'll see what I think.
