Thank you for posting all your videos, they are really helpful. When we don't practice everyday it's great to have something to refresh a bit our knowledge^^.
ج is actually strong like the name George, exactly like the English G...you should clarify that in your dialect it is preferred to be not as strong, but in classic Arabic and not slang...it is G.
I don´t get it why anyone would post their political views or prejudices on video about language learning. There a websites for people like that, so they could give the rest of us the courtesy of keeping their provocative thoughts out of languagevideos.
I suppose it´s just lot easyer to go make stupid statemants here then actually confronting other fools.

I have been studing turkish aswell and considering how different it is from arabic it´s difficult for me to undrrstand how they used the arabic alphabeth back when they did, i suppose there must of been quite some difference in the writing even when they used arabic script.
Is there much good Arabic literature to read? Have decided to learn Arabic so I can go there as a journalist and get their side of the story, not the crap propaganda that seems to be everywhere.

@TheScars75 The latter is transliterated as HHa, it is a deeper sound that comes from the throat like you are forcing an exhale, the former isn't as stronger as Maha made it sound, it is just like our "h" when we say "ha".

thank you for these... I'm from Sweden and I learned Arabic script (actually farsi first, but it's almost the same) when I was 6 years old and lived far out in the sticks. Cus in the school I went to in the nearest village, there was a girl from Iran who I had a big crush on, so I learned to write in farsi script and wrote our names inside hearts on papers and hid them under my bed.
Hoping God would notice and lead us together.
So I know the script, trying to learn the actual language from you.
Hi! I have a comment about the letter "ج". It isn't as soft as you pronounced it. It is rather pronounced as "g" of George. Also, the letter "ج" is one of حروف القلقلة. Thank you :)

you are right, the Jeem sound can be different depending on the dialect
