  • How long do you soak the stuff? and what are you soaking it in? what is the minimum psi i should look for when buying a pressure cooker

  • @ watch watch?v=zO4hxZSaQgs at 11:00 it show what it is for , it is called barbacide , click on the red bock to see updated video

  • what happens when your tube starts to rust??

  • @bryanlafave throw it in the trash , it is china shit , get some real stainless steel from needle jig

  • @TATTOOTRAINING

i saw some one clean the stuff in boild water and green soap brus it and put it in the oven on 160 165

for 2 hours and then put it in a baged soft whasingcolth and taped that in tape and put it in tuperware would dis realy keep it clean?? he did wrap it and tape it but i whas wondering

  • @winstondepp1 that is ghetto as hell , hep c must be killed with pressure , if that is how he sterilizes i bet his cross contamination is major. bet he doesnt disinfect his work area , hepc and MRSA are passed just by touching . scrubbing and soaking barbacide for 10 min is better than all that , see the video on my main page

  • works great, ill post a video response soon because after autoclave process it seemed as drops of water got inside the selfseal pouch..

  • @ChinoLagg it is in a pressurized container of steam . so that steam will be forced into everything , the moisture is sterile, thats how it works nothing wrong.

  • see the big problem i had was cleaning tubes i have to use a nylon brush with my flats to get the collor out the tube brush set doesnt seem to be abrasive enough even if i soaked the tubes for 24 hours what cleaner would you recomend to get pigment gunk unlodged so eazy cleaning can be acheaved

  • @THISTATTOODUDE hot bowl of simple green if you dont have ultrasonic ,, short soak , scrub , long soak , scrub

  • bad ass song whats it called

  • @THISTATTOODUDE pressure - billy joel - i morphed it so i dont get copy right issue

  • @Tattootraining.....sorry bout that, I read a post that you said the cooker cleans itself. I meant is there a way to do a spore test on the pressure cooker? I think you answered that, thanks for the quik response.

  • @Tattootraining....Is there any way to test the pressure cooker tosee if its sterilizing properly?

  • @wastedtalentartwerk yes that what the pouches do they also have a indicator tape , why do you ask , ? in what way do you mean working properly , its basically time and pressure , if the knob that sits on top is bad it wont make the noise and let steam out controlled. it will not get pressurized , what do you mean

  • yea i been playing around with shading on my leg.. i did the raiders logo and i used 7 drops of black outline and filled the rest of the cup with WH but wat i was wondering is that for all black shading could i just use black ink?.. for ex: makeing a big solid black square..

  • @VVR13FLAKO well that is not shading shades are values black is black so if your talking black then use black , black is a color fill it in like color work see my color trouble shooting video , and comment there as this is off topic for this video , will post video tonight

  • at 3:15.. also i have a baby bottle cleaner that steralizes them it has to be sealed off and steam in trapped in the sealed container and i think theres preassure as well do u think thatll work to steralize my stainless?

  • @VVR13FLAKO thous are not nails , that is a pan on the bottom with slits to keep the moister draining. it is a pan that keep the tubes above the water line . you would have to look into the manufactures info to verify it is pressurized but i don tthink it will be you only have to boil nipples not pressurize , the 10 lb pressure cooker is common but 15 lbs is what is required by the book

  • wats that thing wit nails going threw it? and how do i make it? do i just put nails threw it?

  • @VVR13FLAKO i have no ideah what you are talking about , what time on the video ?

  • @TATTOOTRAINING

So can i use the BARBICIDE to disinfect my tattoo machine, by breaking it down and just wiping it down with the BARBICIDE? I've seen many videos where the artist has the tattoo machine uncovered, and was wondering how they RE-STERILIZE it? plz help...

    -Thanks..

  • @phleshR2FK yes thats what im saying , however YOU DO NOT NEED TO BREAK IT DOWN , when you have it tuned you dont want to fuck with it . just use a q tip and a wipe like i speak of in this video , 7:30

  • @TATTOOTRAINING another question i had was, once I've wiped it with barbicide, do i need to

re-wipe with something else to remove the barbicide, since its "harmful"? or is it "not harmful" once it dries?

also on the bottle it says 2oz (barbicide) to 32oz (water)....it also says items need to remain wet for 10mins.

can i spray it down with a pump bottle and let air dry since the barbicide is anti-rust..??

    -thanks for your time...

  • @phleshR2FK listen , wipe it down then wipe it with a alcohol pad, then keep a bag on it , you cannot spray it down , the cores are iron and will rust, the frames is metal and will rust, BAG IT . 100 cheap sandwich bags 2 bucks .

  • cant we used the rice cooker???

  • @yun514 only if it can hold pressure of 15 lbs .

  • i was wondering if i can just use a chemical to clean stainless(without this whole presure cooker tech.) like cavicide? wats the use of cavicide and alconax and its use?... and if i buy the pouch would it work if i put it in a pot of boiling hot water and let it boil clean?

  • @VVR13FLAKO watch the other videos on this subject i have

  • i can do this same process with disposable tubes right.....well for quiet some time reason being they will start t lose their shape from the heat, so ive been told?

also is it proper to use a 15 min barbacide soak and scrub, then selfseal package?

  • @ChinoLagg it depends on the thickness so yah some cheaper tubes even squish from the tube vise so i would nt use thouse in a auto as for pre cleaning routine yes watch the video on my main page it goes into that after 13 min mark also see the other pressure cooker video

  • The bags sterilize alright, even though they come out wet? Do you have to us any special attention in the drying process?

  • Thanx for the info bro

  • HEY MAN GREAT VIDEO!! :D LEARNED A LOT! I JUST GOT THE BARBERCIDE AND I WANTED TO KNOW HOW LONG I SHOULD SOAK MY STEEL TUBES BEFORE I BRUSH THEM OFF AND AUTCLAVE THEM? AND HOW MUCH WATER I ADD TOO THE BARBERCIDE SOLUTION? THANKS A LOT MAN! :lD

  • @92BLAHHH you misunderstand , the barbacide is a solution you use to wipe your equipment and area down with instead of shirt like bleach , you can mix it up with water and drop your grips in for 5 min then rinse dry and bag for storage - read bottle i think its like 2 oz to a liter or so of water , but if your using steel tubes and tips soak them in green soap and tube brush them, rinse and autoclauve .

  • @TATTOOTRAINING HAHAAHA OH COOL MAN THANKS AND IM GUESSING BUYING IT ONLINE WOULD BE THE EASIEST WAY OR IS THERE ANY STORES THAT SELL IT?

  • @92BLAHHH i already said were to get it locally SALLY beauty supply

  • What the name of that stuff in the bottle u use to add in the whipes to clean?

  • @mrchino562 oh thats barbercide, get it at sally beauty supply , it kills everything , they also have the premade wipes but it is cheaper to make them yourself , just keep that shit out of sight from kids

  • A good way out for not spending enough to be disposable tubes! They are practical and prevent cross-contamination! Is a tip!

    Good luck to you!

  • @letattoo121 a way oput for not spending enough on disposable tubes? uh people like steel over plastic thats why mithra has come out with disposable tubes WITH STEEL TIPS , yo have to spend money on steel tips and tubes too, they are not free, you then spend on the autoclave / pressure cooker it isnt cheap , then you have to spend on sterile bags, and no they dont PREVENT cross contamination cross contamination can happen many different ways , good luck to YOU

  • @TATTOOTRAINING Disposables are terrible. Steel just do a better job with better quality. Also I use a ultrasonic cleaner with Alconox. Takes everything off in minutes. Very little scrubbing needed.

  • @autosdafe1138 thats why mithra sells disposables with steel tips , have you seen my ultrasonic video ,

  • @TATTOOTRAINING I prefer the wieght and feel of steel. better balance. I also watched the video. I know you can use other chemicals but the alconox is pretty cheap and I feel better using it verses anything else.

  • great vid bro thanks!

  • where can i get those bags? besides online

  • @UFCGlockhead what bags sandwich bags ?

  • you have a clean stove

  • @bourquechops i dont work in my dining room but if you do it has to be clean enough to operate in .

  • this stuff works!!!!!!!!!! started using this method a couple off weeks ago...thanks for posting this video..

  • Damn thanks this helps alot! Im trying to become a tattoo artist but I need a portfolio to get an apprenticeship at a shop . And I thought I was gonna have to spend 1000 or more on a autoclave. Just to get started. . But for this do I need a ultrasonic cleaner befor I use the pressure cooker or is the pressure cooker enough?

  • @m17anda335828 no you dont need a ultra sonic but the one i have was 300 ( ten years ago) and now its 150 it make clean up and washing out colors easy , you need one big enough to hold 2 plastic rinse cups

  • so after the tubes are sterile and you have removed everything out of the cooker,

how do you clean the pressure cooker? do you just pour the remaining water out and dry it out with a

towel, considering the fact that everything inside is already sterile. or do i need to do something else?

    thanks.

  • @phleshR2FK it sterile , dump remaining water , when you fired it up next time it sterile again .

  • @TATTOOTRAINING ok. thanks. can i ask you if you know of a specific brand

of lining ink that doesn't smear? something that will wipe clean the same way gray wash does?

  • @phleshR2FK this should be on the grey wash video , but if you keep a thin layer of ointment on the skin it wont stain

  • this really helps me out thnx man :D

  • Positivly the most helpful dude ever. All of your videos are awsome ! I have question about ultrasonic cleaners. Can I use a ultrasonic jewelry cleaner ? If not can you point me in the correct direction ? I really appreciate all of the info & direction. You fuggin RULE !To hell with the haters ! You just keep doin' what your doin'. I look forward to your next video.

  • @bulldogtaurus15 no the small jewelry cleaner do not allow enough room for a plastic cup to sit inside without touching the bottom but still be submerged , you dont want your dirty stuff in the actual cleaner . sounds like a video i need to make

  • @TATTOOTRAINING I can't wait to see it.Thanks again.

  • do you change out your barbicide after every use?

  • @BallzDeepClan1 you can have a sealed jar that you only put washed grips in or anything really it will last forever

  • i been tattooing 5 years pro & 8 with home made. a trade i picked up from homeboys in & out ive picked on some homeboys & your right people are going to tattoo with what thay got . thats good you take the time to show . i uploaded some vids & your vids poped upi do my autoclaving like that i did use

MetriCide 28 that suff costs now i use barbacide anyways good stuff . how bout uploading some of your work......

  • How big is that pressure cooker

  • @BallzDeepClan1 too big , you want the smallest one you can find with a 15lb setting

  • I love your videos. keep at it and just shake the haters off!

It's good to learn more than one view of things instead of one way ways that apprenticeships teach you! Thanks

  • does this work for aluminum grips too?

  • I was fortunate enough to inherit a Speedclave 777, works great, I usually go 40 minutes at 250/15#'s....passes regular spore testing. Great video for those who can't shell out the bucks for the fancy shit~!

  • Hey. Great stuff!!! That's a pitty you added it so late, a month before you posted it I bought autoclave ;)

    Thanks for sharing knowledge.

  • Would any kind of pressure cooker work? Also what's the thing you have in there that keeps your grips tubes and tips elavated? Great vids keep em comin. Thanks

  • @jermworm112003 as long as it is 15lb , the size doesnt matter

  • Thanks ones again for your helpfull tips!...and fuck all these haters that be on your nuts talking all this shit!...I have the same pressure cooker lol

  • @xxsurcentralxx there is only 3 haters one moron who learn all he knows from me who i blocked , one newbie hack who gives bad info and his friend who thinks he is a big time pro with nothing to show , all 3 make fake accounts to talk shit and give no help.

  • Nice vid, I didn't expect you to have the disease chart and everything. Lol @ wolfgangpuck.

  • I'm a bit confused. First I don't do tattooing, but have been looking at info on sterilization. Here's what I don't get, people keep making comments about how this isn't adequate sterilization, but if you look at the barbicide site the barbicide plus says that it's effective against HIV, Hep B, Hep C, and a number of others. Plus if the indicator on the packets changes color how can this not be adequate sterilization?

  • @builderofstuff nothing to be confused about , it does kill fucking everythinhg that dipshit is just a hater and doesnt want me teaching you for free , hes pissed cuzz he had to pay thousand to learn the basics i give away . 15 lbs at 30 min at or above 212F IS how an Autoclave works . 7:16

  • @TATTOOTRAINING Yeah.. 15psi in a pressure cooker is 250F.. its the heat and pressure combination that kills everything. Pressure cookers capable of 15psi are plenty fine for tattoo equipment.. lab equipment, even sterile petri dish preparation.. its common practice, and the affordable way to go for the @ home guy. Medical sterilization in an autoclave is 250f for 15 mins.. 15psi in a pressure cooker for 15 mins is identical. Nice vid.

  • Dude sweet vid! I use the Exact same pressure cooker! and i used to use a tin lid to raise my stuff like you. haha!

  • @ArtisticFate i have a bigger one but you need to use it at least 30 minutes with good heat , even 15 lbs is 30 min

  • Fuck what everyone is saying your videos are so helpful I love them!!!! You are GREAT!!!!

  • gloves man gloves!!

  • @dragonjade1212 i need gloves and you need to learn to read , and you need to take up another medium , maybe you can learn to color better than my 5 year old.

  • love all the people who have a better way but yet i dont see any video from them sharing there amazing knowledge ,

  • @vexhecubus like i did .... well arent you pious bitch , is that all you do is go around telling people how fucking great yuo are at sterilizing shit? consider the fucking audience and either help out or get out

  • i can not find a web site for your shop. And a pressure cooker is not a autoclave by any means. same concept but not the same. people need to get in to a shop if they want to tattoo. i hate people that say they cant because no one will give them a shot. get your art work up and hustle that shit. tattooing from home is ok for practice but dont charge your friends and other idiots you know to practice. get your asses in a shop like the rest of us did.

  • @PuRPLKuSH316 AND....? so tell us how they are not the same ? why do people NEED to get in a shop is they want to tattoo? %90 of apprenticeships are a rip, a fucken joke , i cant tell you how many have told me how they learned more from me in a month than a year or more in a shop . most shops are full of hacks who whore out shitty flash. and I tell every one they have to do everything for free. and i left the shops they are flesh factories , full of arrogant hacks . thats why U R here

  • To anyone and everyone watching and reading this. LEARN THE PROPER WAY TO STERILIZE EQUIPMENT with the appropriate decontamination solutions, ppe, sterilizers (stove top sterilizers are actually against health board violation in many/most areas).

  • @vexhecubus go watch some fools using home made equipment who reuse parts and dont attempt to clean anything , if you think these kids are going to take classes and buy expensive equipment your delusional , they dont give a fuck what is a health board violation , make your own video if you want to be helpful and show people how to do it REALISTICALLY

  • Nice. Saw this vid on a tattoo forum, and thought I recognised your voice. Good vid, like all the others.

  • Stupid question but does the size of the pot matter at all?

  • @LITTLE666GOATWHORE not really as long as you can put the required water , a separator shelf to keep the product lifted out of the water and the product to be sterilized without blocking the vent .

  • @TATTOOTRAINING

    Alright thanks for responding

  • @TATTOOTRAINING

no no tattootraining. i'd be happy to make a video demonstration for you but. im just saying i would not scrub my tips clean without gloves if they have blood. ink and etc on them. i would use a station just for that purpose aswell. not in the kitchen. i work in a shop. not scratching at home so we follow something called s-r-t and they have special sanitation requirements. anyways im enjoying your videos so keep on making them

  • @TATTOOTRAINING

  • @naturalherb well as i pointed out in the video they all ready had been soaking gin my ultrasonic bath , ( with barbacide ) and were basically clean , i was only scrubbing them so it was clear to do so first. now i am not scratchin i got my license when you were still playing power rangers. im helping people who are starting out do shit proper so they aren't SCRATCHERS , and if your all that why are you on youtube looking for info ?

  • @TATTOOTRAINING im not anymore actually. i subscribe and this video popped up :). and by the way. whats up with your attitude man?

  • @naturalherb i dont care for people throwing around words like scratcher, it is for people who use prison guns and dont have a clue , i know many incredible artist who do shit at home, and have seen many hacks that work in shops . so when you claim to be working in a shop (when your not) and say it like it means shit , i get an attitude , understand?

  • Awesome tutorial.

  • thats the way i used to do but one of the guys i tattoo the most one day show up with an autoclave old but working and all for a tattoo!! but this system works just as a normal steam autoclave again you the best bro!!

  • you are the man. i KNEW it could be done this way but the haters who have the expensive stuff say no. i take my stuff to a shop for cleaning and will later buy the good stuff but my cash is going towards everything else that i need to produce good art and good tattoos. now i can steer clear from the haters..thanks man.your always on time, and thanks for putting in the work you do.where you could take the easy way and be a hater..good man

  • @palomino13 of course it can be done like this....its just a better explanation of my video..:(

  • I know cam sells 3''x6'' baggies where you can put the whole tube assembled.

  • how much does the barbacide cost?

  • @Rambo261 only 6.00 or hydroxide is 4.00

  • nice video, thanks. but you said not to autoclave the silicone grips, so why did you put them in bags? did u put them in there so they will stay clean?

  • @evopsomopso when did i say not to autoclave a silicone grip ? but if i sanitized them in the barbaside i would later rinse them off well and put them in a baggie .

  • @TATTOOTRAINING okay sry i did hear that wrong...

  • @evopsomopso he didnt say not to autoclave the silicone grips, he said if you dont want to us the barbacide. most silicone grips are autoclaveable

  • @Rambo261 okay i did hear sth wrong
