  • That car is a thing of beauty. My Uncle owns a Black 82. Every time I look at it I think KITT.

  • 9:09 kitt is saying "calling you a car is an insalt to auto techknowledgey"

  • Dude we have the same louvers, chastian shadow right? I got them on my TA too Nice car and work

  • Nice work Buddy. Been there done that. :-)

  • Awesome car to start off, and great job with the paint. I remember my old replica. Building it is the fun part. Did you get all of the fiberglass stuff and electronics?

  • I say this is a labor of love, just one thing over looked front end. It is not the same as a Kitt. Needs work.....sorry... Like the build....

  • Hi good luck rebuilding the car hope to see the finished product soon..hope to see a great KITT replica from you...right now i'm dreaming of building my own KITT but first i need a good working T-Top...

  • like the delorean rear window thing on that man

  • Nice resto but why is it titled KITT restoration when there isnt one thing KITT about it.

  • @MickScarborough IT is titled KITT because ultimately that is what the car is going to be when I am finished. hence part 1 in the title. bilding these cars are expensive and take a lot of time. I would rather post what i have now, then wait all that time for when i am done. Also that video is still out of date I added somethings to it recently and I'll edit and re-post it as soon as winter is over here in Ohio. Thanks for the interest

  • Very nice!!!

  • Verry nice job Man !! really enjoyed every minute of it !! What motor is that ??

  • @Saxovtsrules probably a v8

  • Oh I can't wait till mine gets to that stage. I have some vids of him but they are old I will be uploading more soon. Dude get a nose....soon....that beautiful paint job, the black out on the back, a nose and scanner you would have a complet kitt on the exterior...what are you waiting for????? JK. Love the car though man and kudos for having great taste.

  • Wow, I saw that car on Craigslist in Ohio, I emailed about the car but never got a response. LOL

  • @blueshield6630 LOL That is really fascinating. I guess it was just fate then huh. Thanks for the comment

  • Dude, I took the time to watch the almost 10 minute clip you have, and MAN that is a nice car! I have a 1983 Trans Am "Daytona 500" pace car and was going to do a "White Knight" rendition of KITT, but it's a 1-of-520 car, so I thought I'd leave it be. Anyways, the car looks great! Did the engine bay get painted black as well?

  • @WideTrackGP92 Yes It did get painted as well

  • Wow. How Long Did It Take? The Car Is Amazing. Excellent Job. Check Out My 86 Firebird. No Where Near As great As yours. I can't find the wheels or the Hubcaps. And Mine is only a v6. But I purchased it for 500. Did you build plexiglass For where the front vents were? Very impressed with your build. The paint job came out flawlessly.

  • @SuperSaxDude101Thank You very much. Surprisingly al this was done last spring and summer, but then again I had a lot of great people give me a hand when i needed it. I bought my first firebird for $200 and started fixing it up, then realized that if im going to do it, do it right, get the right car. Yes I did build the Plexiglas that is in the front bumper. again thank you for your comment
